It also makes me wonder why you all said yes to someone like me, a clumsy, destructive person. Nonetheless, I'm still happy.. but unfortunately, we can not stay together. Fate won't allow it. I know you're probably reading this without me and that's good. I wanted you to. I wanted you to because I could find enough courage to tell you all this face-to-face. I didn't want to see the hurt in your eyes. I didn't want to see the tears. I have lung cancer. I found out in August but I couldn't bring myself to tell you all. The doctors told me I only have a few months left and this month, December is my last. I hope I've made you all happy while I was there and I hope you won't forget me either or I'll haunt you. Anyways, I love you all and I wish to see you all again in the next life

Jungkook just stared at the letter as his teardrops soaked the paper. he slowly put the paper down and picked up one of the six black boxes. The box contained a heart necklace with a picture of them together in the heart. It was then that he saw it and started sobbing. He turned to the closest person to him, which happened to be yoongi, and stuffed his face in their chest as he cried loudly.
Taehyung frowned and took the note and read it. He teared up as well then hugged Jungkook tightly. Soon all the boys read the letter and were crying except for yoongi. He was the only one who kept his composure although he wanted to cry and scream. He took all the necklaces and put them on his boyfriend before he heard a knock on the door.
Yoongi got up and opened it, revealing a crying jaebum. "Q-quick!! Namjoon collapsed and he's been taken to the hospital. He told me to come to get you all. Please come quick!!" Yoongi ran back in and told the boys the situation. They all panicked and quickly put their shoes and jacket on before grabbing the keys. They had two cars to fit them all so they split up. Jungkook, Jin, yoongi, and taehyung took the first car while hoseok and Jimin took the second. They were about to leave when jaebum went to the car with hoseok and Jimin and asked for a ride.

All seven boys entered the hospital and followed jaebum to the room since he was already there. As soon as they got in the room Jungkook broke down again, seeing namjoon hooked up to many machines with his eyes barely open.
Namjoon just smiled weakly and lifted his weak arms, waiting for a hug. The three youngest were the first to run to his arms and sob on his chest, Jungkook crying the hardest. Namjoon knew how much Jungkook cared for him and it only made him hurt worse.
He pulled away from the other two and wrapped his arms tightly around Jungkook who was weakly hitting namjoon "W-why didn't you t-tell me sooner..?! Why a-are you trying to leave m-me?! A-am I that bad?" He said through his cries which only broke namjoon's heart more "I'm sorry baby.. but please don't cry.. it will all be okay.." this only caused Jungkook to shake his head and hit namjoon more "no it won't!! How will it be okay if you're gone?! W-who will help me w-when I'm sad o-or-or when I need someone to talk to?! Y-you've always been there for me hyungie.. please don't leave me now... please.." he soon kneeled next to the bed and began to beg namjoon to stay even though he knew that namjoon couldn't control it.
He looked away from Jungkook as tears brimmed in his eyes "I'm sorry kookie... it's out of my control... now, why don't you come here and let's cuddle yeah? Let's catch up on the past few days" he said softly as he held Jungkook's hands who nodded hesitantly and slowly got on the bed and cuddled namjoon. Hours later all the boys were happy and laughing with each other while Jungkook fell asleep on namjoon.

It's been about a year and a half since the funeral and none of them were the same. Once they were all cheerful and happy but that all vanished when they lost someone they held dear to them.
Jungkook never smiled, never showed any emotion, and barely talked or ate. He was much thinner and paler. His room which was once colorful was now only black and grey. He would often sit outside in the rain and sing a song he and namjoon came up with.
