- Freddy's POV -

After a long day of preforming the same songs I always play, the shop finally closed up for the night. I swear, this pizza sauce will never get out of my fur.

It's getting close to twelve, which means the night shift will start soon. A grin spreads across my face. We're finally getting another friend to join us.

I look over at the others. They're still onstage. One look and I can tell they're just as eager as I am. I hear a car approaching. Must be the security guard. I hurry back onstage and pretend to be off, as do the others.

The security guard walks in. She has ginger hair and green eyes, and looks around 23 or so. She doesn't look like she'll put up much of a fight.

The security guard and the manager walk towards us, and the security guard seems pretty interested.

"These are three of the animatronics here. This is Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica." The manager says to the guard, pointing to each of us respectively. The security guard just nods and looks at us. Does this girl even talk?

"And they're set on free-roaming mode, right?" She asks. Apparently she CAN talk. The manager nods and the girl smiles. I don't get how she could be happy about that, but alright. It's her choice, I guess.

"Also, there's another animatronic, but he's out of order now, so he shouldn't cause too much of a problem." The manager says. She's talking about Foxy, obviously. He was the main attraction until '87. I still, to this day, don't know why he did it.

The girl looks up at us and asks the manager, "So, when does my shift start?"

"Tonight, at twelve. It's 11:15, so in 45 minutes." The manager tells her. "By the way, what was your name?"

"Carla." The girl says. "Carla Ikati."

(A/N for those who are wondering, Ikati is Zulu for Cat. It's important later.)

- Carla's POV -

I head back to the restaurant at around 11:55. Hey, I'm a little early, but that's no big deal. I walk through the front doors, seeing the animatronics onstage. I swear, their eyes are following me.

I hurry down the hallway and towards the manager's office, only to find it empty. Huh. I'd expected her to be here. Oh well. I continue down the hallway and find my office.

It's not too big, but it's sufficient. It's got a simple office chair, what looks like a tablet on the desk, and two entrances. Not sure why they'd need two, but whatever.

I sit down in the chair and look around. I see a digital clock that displays the time, and another screen that shows nothing as of yet. Maybe it'll show something when 12:00 hits.

I hear a chime and look up at the digital clock, finding it displays 11:59. Must be the alert that the shift's about to start. I keep watching the clock until it reads 12:00. I hear another chime when this happens, a bit louder than the previous one.

The power goes out, and reserve power starts up. I didn't know that would happen. I notice the screen from earlier lit up, and now it shows something that reads 100%. Oop, scratch that, it just went down to 99%. I see a small green bar next to it and realize this must be my power meter. I guess I gotta conserve as much as possible.

Out of curiosity, I close the left door. Another bar appears next to the green one. I open the door again, and the bar dissapears. So the more electronics I use, the faster power drains. Makes sense. Part of me wonders what happens when the power runs out, but the other part of my just shrugs it off as unimportant.

I pull up the tablet and find it shows camera feed. Right now, it shows the stage with the animatronics. They're even creepier in the dark, and this static isn't helping much. I guess it's touch screen, so I flip through the cameras quickly. I put down the camera and sigh. Maybe tonight won't be so bad.

...or maybe I spoke to soon, because I hear footsteps.

I quickly check the cameras and find that Bonnie is gone from the stage. I tell myself not to worry; the manager did say they were set on a free-roaming mode at night. I flip through the cameras and find him backstage, staring at the camera, eyes blacked out with tiny white pupils. I nearly screamed at this, but managed to contain myself.

Time check, 2:14, power level, 78%. Hopefully that's enough power to last until 6:00.

I flip through the cameras again and find Chica in the dining room. I swear she was on the stage a few seconds ago. Oh well. I flip through the cameras again and find Bonnie in the supply closet. Oooookay, that's close to my door!

I put down the camera and check my power level. It's at 67%, and the time is 2:47. I hear more footsteps. I check the cameras and find Bonnie just outside my door.

I check the door lights and find Bonnie staring in at me. I slam the door shut the second I see him.

At this point, I seriously feel like screaming, but manage to keep it in. I check the door light and find that Bonnie's still there. I sigh and check the cameras again. Chica's at the edge of the right hall.

I check the door light on the left again and see Bonnie's finally gone. I breathe a sigh of relief and open the door. I swear, that bunny will give me nightmares. I check the door light on the right and find nobody's there.

I pull up the cameras once more, finding Chica gone. I quickly check the door light and see her there.

And this time, I can't contain a scream. I slam the door shut as quickly as possible. I'm pretty sure, at this point, that the manager was lying.

I wait a bit and check the light again and again, finally finding Chica gone. I relax a bit and open the door.

I check the clock to see it says 5:42, and my power is at 21%. Hopefully that's enough to make it to the end of the night.

For a short while, I wait, and then I hear more footsteps. Oh, come ON! I was just attacked by a freaking robotic chicken! Give me a break!

I check the camera on the left of the door and spot Bonnie there. I sigh and check the light, not seeing him there. I check the light on the other side, but there's nobody there. I check the left light again and see Bonnie again. I close the door, checking the clock as I do. 5:59, power at 9%.

A few seconds later, I hear a chime and see that it's 6:00. The lights turn on and the doors open. Cautiously, I leave the building. Hopefully, I can survive all five nights.
