Goodbye alarm. Ugh. When does it end?! We're just going around in circles.

"Why're we having a hot pot in summer?"

Reika: Who knows.

Nami: Reika....

Reika: Hm? What's wrong Nami?

Nami: I heard this summer you're going to go leave back to Australia...

Reika: Eheh...

Raina: Is it true? You're going to leave us again.

Reika: My real parents are going to be visiting there, I need to go see them again, it's been years...

Mayu: Why couldn't you tell us-

Reika: I'm leaving after the regionals. Don't worry. I'll be there to watch you guys.

Harumi: I'm coming with her.

Mayu: Harumi! You're not serious!

Harumi: Here. If you ever change your mind...

Harumi threw 3 plane tickets on the table, it was to Australia?!

Nami: What is this?

Raina: Plane tickets?

Mayu: To Australia?

Reika: Harumi you're not actually going are you?!

All the girls: We are coming with you!

Reika: *sweatdrops* Great...we'll only be gone for a few months you know that right?

Nami: Yup!

Nagisa: What about us?

Raina: Sorry, I guess we'll have to leave Japan for a few months.

Mayu: We'll come visit though!

Rei: Visit?! I thought you were only going to visit Australia?!

Raina: Nope. It's a one-way ticket, so there's a chance we'll be stuck there.

Swimming photo album?

Now I remember! My grandpa, he used to take the pictures! So he'd take me to every single event. It was nice I guess, I mean..that's how I learned to love swimming. Then something changed. But, I don't remember anymore.

Every single picture it's just like : "Rin" "Haru" "Makoto" "Nagisa" "Haru is always smiling on the inside." Blah blah blah.

Middle of walking on the bridge, because I made the stupid decision to forget my car. Suddenly, Rei stopped in his tracks.

Rei: Just what....happened between...the four of you?

Nagisa: The four of us? Are you talking about Rin-chan?

Rei: You were all so close in all of those pictures. You all looked so happy.

Mako: Well...

Haru: Rei...I don't know if there's any point in talking about this now... But if you're interested, I can tell you what happened.

Rei: Please tell me. I'm tired of being the only one on the outside!

Mako: Rei...

Rei: I'm part of the team too!

Nagisa: Rei-chan.

Haru: Okay. Rin was obsessed with relays from the moment he joined our club. He didn't tell us why until right before the final.

Rin: Alright today is the finals. Thanks for doing this for me guys!

Mako: We're not doing this for you. We're here because we want to be here.

Rin: Right...Of course. I wasn't sure if I should tell you guys, but win or lose, the next race will be our last. So I'll talk. My dad was one of the first members of the Iwatobi swimming club. When he was in sixth grade, he was part of a winning medlay relay. His dream was to be an Olympic swimmer. But he ended up becoming a fisherman and died in an accident. I've decided to go to Australia. But I thought, if I could join my dad's swimming club first and win the medlay relay, I might be able to share his dream. I don't know who was on his team, but I'm sure they were the best team around. I hope that we can also become the best! I know I'm being selfsih, but I want us to be the best swim team around! 

Haru: We won the medlay relay, and Rin went to Australia. Rin said he'd show me a sight I've never seen before. And after we won the relay, it felt like I really did see it.

Nagisa: I also felt like I saw something completely new!

Mako: Yep, same here.

Rei: So if you swam together in the relay and won, why is your relationship so different now?

Haru: During the winter break of my first year in middle school, I ran into Rin while he was visiting.

Rin: Haru...

Train passes.

Haru: You're back?

Rin: Yeah.

Haru: You could have called.

Rin: Well, it'd be a little embarassing... How are you doing? Still swimming?

Haru: Yeah, I joined the swimming club at our middle school. Makoto also joined. The school has a pretty big pool.

Rin: Hey Haru. Let's swim together again...to see who's faster.

Coach Sasbe: Oh, it's Rin! You're back?

Rin: Yeah. Hey, we want to do some swimming.

Coach Sasabe: Sure, it's reserved for us right now anyway.

Coach: Set. *blows whistle*

Rin: *crying*

Haru: Wait, Rin! What's wrong? You've been acting strange today.

Rin: I quit.

Haru: Huh?

Rin: I'm done with swimming.

Nagisa: I never knew that happened.

Haru: I couldn't tell anyone back then.

Nagisa: So that's why you quit the swim club in middle school .

Mako: Haru stopped swimming competitively becayuse he felt guilty about what happened with Rin.

Rei: But didn't your race the other day put an end all that? You're free now. You can swim the way you want. So why are you upset about losing? And why is he entering the relay? I don't understand!

Reika: No one, understands.

Haru: I don't understand either, but for some reason, I'm looking forward to racing Rin again.
