"Y/n, baby wake up, it's adoption day, and all the kids have to come downstairs", Mrs. Ross says. I yawn, turn over, and face Mrs. Ross. "They're not gonna want me", I say. "Of course they are y/n, you're the sweet girl I have ever met", Mrs. Ross says. "If they wanted me, I wouldn't be here!", I yell. "Listen I'm sorry that you were born with that disease, No one wished it upon you and nobody wants you to have it.", Mrs. Ross says. "I WANT TO BE NORMAL, I WANT TO BE LIKE OTHER KIDS", you snap back at Mrs. Ross. "Y/n...come back". I run out of my room and and upstairs to the attic. I open the door and slam it quickly. I turn around, go to the corner of the room and started crying. "W-why am I l-like this?", I whisper to myself.

3 hours later

I stopped crying becuase I was so tired. I laid down in the floor and tried to go to sleep, but I heard my name being called. It kept getting louder and louder. It was Mrs. Ross. She opened tho door to the attic and saw me sitting on the floor. "Y/n, honey are you okay, please don't ever from away from me again", Mrs. Ross said while she was hugging you. She let go and said "Someone is downstairs to adopt you". I couldn't believe what I was hearing. "I-i'm getting a-adopted", I stuttered "Yes, yes you are y/n, he's waiting for you", Mrs. Ross says as she smiles. I ran up to her and hugged her.

You and Mrs. Ross walked to the main floor and saw a man sitting in the couch with his phone. When he heard the stairs creek his head shot up. He smiled, got up and walked towards me. "Hi sweetie, I'm Jack".
