*Flash Back To 1st Grade.*

It was the first day of first grade, and being me, I was never good at making friends. I had friends, but they were all boys. Girls always seemed to be mean to me, since day one.

"Mommy!" I exclaim, "I picked out my dress!" I was wearing a short dress, that went to my knees. The dress was lace at the top and bottom. Daises covering all of it, which made the dress pink and yellow. "Yes you did," my mom gave my a reassuring smile, "let's put your hair in those pony tails now."

I hopped on the stool in front of my mom, letting her comb my medium sized blonde hair. Braiding both sides on top of my head, tying them with pink ribbons. She reached for my shoes, putting them on one of my feet, and I put the other shoe on the other foot, if that makes sense.

"Hurry up honey, we need to get you there, so you can get your name tag and everything," I jumped up excitedly to mom. She opened the front door of our tiny apartment, and I booked it outside, towards our black car.

The door unlocked, how I know? I heard it. I pulled it open, and sat inside, throwing my back pack on the ground. "I'm happy," I grinned, ear to ear. "Good, I am to," she reaches over pinching my cheeks, "my baby girls growing up."

"Mommy, stop, school starts soon," I lightly pushed her hands away, grabbing the passenger seats seat belt, and clicked it in the holder thing.

I glanced outside, all the way there, watching people walk to school, watching the rain fall down on the window, wondering how it all happened. "Were here," she wiggles out of the car, along with me. Walking up to the door, towards my new class room. "Your Kassydee Rams, right?"

"Yes mam," i giggle at my choice of words. "Well go inside, class will begin soon, hon." I kissed my mother goodbye, and jogged over to the table full of girls. "Hi, i'm Kassydee."

One girl gasped, "uh no, you can't sit with us."

"I didn't ask..." i sighed, "But why not?" "You're wearing a daisy dress, that was way kindagarten," she smiles, high fiving all the girls near her. (And yes i know i spelt kindergarten wrong ^ thats how she says it.)

I stomped over to the table full of boys, "i'm Kassidee," i smile. One boy looked deeply at me, "I'm Shawn," he looks at the boys around him, "why aren't you with the meany girls?"

"Cause they are meanies..." My face crumbles up. "Can I sit with you?"

"Are you a girly meany to?" He questions, raising his eye brow. "No!'' I squeak, "i dont think so. My mommy said im a super fun."

"Well yeah, sit with us," since that day, I had been best friends with him.
