Chapter 2, A Strange place

Yugi Pov : I have to find someone to Help Katliny she’s injured really badly, blood is all over her, but I have no idea where we are, all I know is that we are some type of desert. “ Somebody help,please my friend!” I started to cry I don’t even know if she’s dead or not, just to make sure I check if she is breathing, to my surprise, she's still breathing. I started to look around and I see a village nearby so I picked her up and walked to the village. As I walk into the village,one of the village's people noticed that both of us were injured and they took us to the infirmary. 

Infirmary nurse : hello how may I help… Oh my, Lee we need herbs now. 

Lee : Yes ma'am.

Infirmary nurse: What happened to both of ye?

Infirmary nurse: No need to tell more.

Lee: Here ma’am 
Infirmary nurse: Ah thank ye Lee.

Yugi: Will she be ok?

Infirmary nurse: Yes,these herbs will help her not only to regain her strength, but it will also help with blood supply.    
           
Yugi: *Sighs in relief* good thank you for helping us.

Infirmary nurse: It’s my job to help the Injured, I leave you two to rest for now.

Katinly: Y...Yugi where a...are we?

Yugi: We're in an Infirmary.

Katinly POV: As I wake up I hear something coming from the distance  that's when I think the Infirmary’s nurse came in.

Infirmary nurse: Both you need to come out now, the Pharaoh is coming.

Yugi emedley helps me to sit up when the nurse said to us we need to stay here ,she was talking to two other people.
 
Infirmary nurse POV: My Pharaoh there are two young ones who are  injured…

Pharaoh: May I see them?

Infirmary nurse: Yes my Pharaoh right way.

Katinly’s POV: I don’t know if we can go back not without help.

Yugi: What do you mean?

Katinly: We need some....

That’s when I see two people walk in, it was the nurse and someone else.

Pharaoh: *Gasp at seeing both of us* What happened to you?

Both of us look at each other and looked at ,him 

Katinly and Yugi: A demon happened.

Pharaoh: How, and where was it?

Katinly: Well I can tell you for sure that it wasn’t here, your people are safe Pharaoh.

Yugi: Wait, what Katinly you can’t just make…   

Pharaoh: No no she’s right but please don’t say it in that monaton of a voice.

I try to get up so I can get a closer look at this Pharaoh, but when I stood I fell but someone caught me, I look up to see who it was and it was the Pharaoh.

Katinly: Im sorry, I just needed to…

Pharaoh: It's ok you don’t need to apologize, you're injured.

Katinly in mind: * That doesn't give a reason to fall on you.*
Pharaoh: Both of you come with me back to the palace.

Katinly and Yugi: What?

He was already helping me walk and urging Yugi into the carige. I have know Idea how or what just happened but we had to go with it.

Pharaoh: What happened to cause your injurers?

Katinly: We were attacked.

Pharaoh: By what?

Katinly: … A demon.

Pharaoh: A demon? , what kind?

Katinly: I have no Idea what species it is, all I know is that I wants us dead, We need to fight back and kill it before more people get hurt.   

Pharaoh: Your not from here, then where are you from?

Katinly: *That’s not what I said, why is he changing the subject?*
 
Yugi: We are from Japan however not… Ow, why would you do that. 

I had to elbow Yugi, we can’t risk that we are from a different time

Pharaoh: Well I want to help both as much as I can, but right now you two need to get some rest, I’ll someone to take care of your injurers.

Yugi: Thank you, but I still think Katinly needs more than just bandages.

*Time Skip to the palace*

Yugi POV: When we got to the palace the Pharaoh lead us into two different rooms, I wanted to stay with Katinly until she was better but he told I couldn’t be in the same room with her. I understood, but I had no idea if she was okay.

Katinly POV: I didn’t realize that I was passed out for two weeks but that's what I heard from Yugi, when I woke up Yugi immediately hugged me on what seemed like hours. When he finally like go of me, I noticed that he was crying.

Katinly: Yugi you don’t have to cry, I know I was out for a period of time but…

Yugi: You were asleep for two weeks!  

Katinly: That’s normally for me, I already told you that if I was forced into a warp or a time vortex it will most likely make me pass out for a few days to a week or two, my body can’t handle the intense pressure and weight when being forced into something.

As I get out of the bed I look around, puzzled by what I saw. I take a closer look at the walls to see hieroglyphics of warriors fighting in a battle. I then translated it to Yugi.

Katinly: These hieroglyphics, they tell us about a former battle not long ago, maybe a month or two. Many of these warriors had died, some are alive, and some are here being treated for their injurers now. So far this is the bloodiest battle at the moment.

Yugi looked at me stunted that I was able to translate the ancient language.
But we also didn’t realize that the Pharaoh heard me.

Pharaoh: So an outsider traveler can read this?

Katinly: Well no, where we're from no one can read hieroglyphics unless if you are specially trained to. 

Yugi: I’m just surprised that you can read it, I know you ca…

Katinly: Yuig, I’ll tell you later. But Pharaoh why did you help us?

Pharaoh: I saved you both because someone told me to.

Katinly: And who will that be?

Pharaoh: … Obelisk the Tormentor, Slifer the Sky Dragon, and The Winged Dragon of Ra.

Katinly: *mumbles to self* The Three Egyptian Gods.

Pharaoh and Yugi: What?

Katinly: Huh, No never mind.

Later.
Yugi's POV 
It was getting late and Katinly is refusing to sleep, she keeps telling me that the demon is out there somewhere. I don’t know what she means about that but I have a feeling that it is the same demon that attacked us. But for now I must leave her be.

Katinly pov: * I must get out of here somehow*

Guard: What are you doing being out this late miss.

Katinly: I’m just trying to find the room that I should be in, I have the location of it now ,so you don’t have to worry too much. 

Guard: well just don’t do it again, as ordered by our pharaoh everyone must be in their chamber be the time the moon is at its peak.

Katinly: * That was close*

I started to jog so that I couldn't get caught so quickly but at the same time I ran straight into the pharaoh.

Katinly: Watch out!!
