(A.N. boop)
Midoriya [POV]
"Good morning Deku!" Uraraka exclaimed, "We brought cake!" She beamed, displaying the small cake that she was holding in her hands.
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked, my eyes widening with surprise.
Iida and Tsuyu stood behind her, smiles on her faces.
"Well, since you said you weren't feeling well last night, we decided to make sure that you were alright, and we just decided to bring cake." Uraraka explained cheerfully.
"Why the cake?"
"Because Tsu baked a cake."
"When?"
"Last night, for the party, but I forgot about it." Tsuyu responded, she giggled.
"So can we come in?" Uraraka rocked back and forth on her heels.
"Yeah... yeah, come in you guys." I stepped to the side letting the three of them come inside the apartment that I lived with my mom.
"Is your mom here?" Uraraka asked, "Cause usually she's the one that answers the door."
"No, she's not home, she left a while ago somewhere." I led the three of them into the kitchen. Uraraka set the cake down on the counter.
"Hmm."
"You look kinda down Midoriya, is something wrong?" Iida asked.
"No, nothing's wrong I'm just tired." I smiled weakly, "I just woke up a little bit ago anyways."
"Oh I see."
"Cmon lets have some cake." Uraraka presented a large knife from one of the drawers. She knows her way around my apartment pretty well.
"We can't have cake for breakfast," Iida insisted.
"we can have whatever we want for breakfast when there's no adult supervision." Uraraka insisted, waving the knife in the air in a circle shape.
"I'm the closest thing that we have here to adult supervision and I say that we can't eat cake for breakfast." Iida crossed his arms in front of his chest. Moving to take the knife away from Uraraka.
"You don't have to but we're going to, right deku? Right Tsu?" Uraraka looked around at us.
"Yeah, why not." I shrugged.
"Sure, I don't see why not." Tsuyu responded.
"It's three against one Iida, none of your 'parental supervision' crap is gonna work on us now." Uraraka laughed and started to cut the cake up into slices. Iida only sighed, shaking his head.
"That's not a very healthy breakfast."
"Yeah, what's your point?" Uraraka chuckled again
"Never mind, I'll get some plates out." He laughed softly.
"Yay! That's the spirit!" Uraraka cheered.
"So, did Bakugo call you last night?" Tsuyu asked me, her voice serious.
"I don't know..." I shifted my weight from foot to foot, "I mean like my phone died last night, but he called me this morning."
Uraraka winced, her back to me.
"How'd that go Deku?" She asked.
"I'd rather not talk about that right now, let's have cake." I forced a smile on my face.
"Yeah, we can go out afterwards." Iida responded spreading out four plates on the counter next to Uraraka.
"So you decided to just give in?" Uraraka teased, eyeing the four plates.
"If you can't beat them, join them." Iida rolled his eyes, Uraraka bumped his shoulder. I hauled myself up onto the counter to sit, swinging my legs as I did so.
Uraraka started to hum a familiar tune as she deposited the slices of cake on each plate. It was a chocolate cake with green frosting.
"What happened at the party after I left?" I asked.
"Not much," Uraraka sighed, "the neighbors complained about the noise and threatened to call the police on us, and then kaminari passed out on the coffee table."
"You get pictures?"
"Mina has the pictures."
"Todoroki was looking for you after you left." Tsuyu chimed in.
"He was? What for?"
"We don't know, Bakugo threatened to beat him up."
"That sounds pretty interesting for nothing happening." I rolled my eyes.
"Cake's served." Uraraka handed me and Tsuyu a plate with cake on it.
"No forks?" I raised one eyebrow.
"No forks needed." Uraraka exclaimed using her hands to take a bite of the chocolate cake.
"Here Midoriya." Iida handed me a fork that he found in one of the drawers. Sometimes it confused me how much the three of them knew my own apartment.
"Thank you." I took it from him and started to eat.
"So what have you there been up to this morning? I don't believe that you guys just woke up or something." I asked,
"I was helping my mom make breakfast for my siblings, so I've been up a while." Tsuyu responded, she sat up on the counter next to me.
"And then I came over and dragged her away from her poor family." Uraraka responded dramatically.
"And my mom told me to take the cake over." Tsuyu cut her off.
"I was taking a shower, they somehow appeared in my room when I came out, I was dressed at the time." Iida leaned against the counter.
"You guts broke into his house?" I asked.
"No, his dad let us in." Tsuyu explained.
"I see, you guys have had quite a busy morning I guess." I picked at the cake on my plate, taking another bite.
"So tell us Deku, what happened when Bakugo called you?" Uraraka asked.
I frowned, "I don't know, the usual."
"You need to dump his ungrateful a*s." She spoke simply.
"I can't do that!" I exclaimed, "I love him and he loves me."
"Do you really? And do you really think that he does?" Uraraka asked.
"Yeah, I guess."
"Well, if you say so Deku."
I opened my mouth to say something else when I heard the lock on the front door click and the door start to open.
"Izuku honey, I'm home." My mom called into the house.
"Hi mom." I called back as she came into the kitchen carrying grocery bags.
"Hello mrs. Midoriya." Uraraka, Tsuyu, And Iida responsed together, almost in unison.
"Oh how many times do I have to tell you kids," my mom laughed, "just call me Inko."
"Right." Uraraka scratched at the back of her neck.
"So what brings you three over to the Midoriya house hold?" My mom asked, setting the bags down on the counter by the sink.
(A.N ahhh this is a long chapter, honestly this is the longest chapter I've written in a long time mainly because I didn't know where to cut it off. Hope y'all enjoyed)
