A Wolfblood is a being who has the ability to transform from human to Wolf. They transform on full moons which is why they are sometimes confused with Werewolves. Wolfbloods and Werewolves are different creatures however they do both possess lycanthropic powers and abilities. Wolfbloods are born with the gene they can't stop it or transfer it to others. You can't become a wolfblood if you aren't born one. Therefore Wolfbloods are born NOT made. However, if the gene becomes dormant due to human breeding there is still a very, very slight chance that a child born generations after may carry the Wolfblood gene.
Vocab:
Lycanthropic means the supernatural transformation of a person into a Wolf.
Dormant means having normal physical functions suspended slowed down or stopped for a period of time.
