The Gallpen

It starts off, and I'm walking throgh this shady dark alley at maybe, 1am. It was raining. And all of a sudden I pass these brick alcoves. Then there was a sharp pain in my head. There were black spots in my vision and I passed out. And then it went into third person, and the 'camera' zooms out with these two guys standing over me as the scene turns black.

I wake up at around ten in the morning and I'm in this shack filled with bunk beds as I realize I'm laying on a lower one, about 20 feet from the door. Then someone was standing over me and I asked where I was and they said "You're now a part of the 'Street Fighters'. Welcome to your new home." I asked what the street fighter were
and he said, "It's an illegal group of people who fight and get betted on over who is going to win."
I asked, "Who are YOU?"
"My name is Samuel. Just call me Sam"
Then I got up and we started walking out of the room together and the scene again fades.

I was led to a training area filled with people and punching bags, and weights. I was led to a punching bag and started punching it. Then the doors bust open and this large, jacked coach-like man walks in. He says, "Listen up cupcakes, there is going to be a big fight tomorrow. I want you all ready for it, newbie or not. Line up and we're going to have a health evaluation and if you fail, well, lets just say my dogs are gonna have a real nice dinner tonight." Then there's a montage of people training and fighting with the coach yelling in the background. Don'r stop beleiving was playing in the background.

We were standing in a line again and the coach is listing off the people who passed and luckily I was on that list. There was one kid who didn't make it though, he was a small red-head and he was dragged out of the room. Crying. Then everything faded out again, and we were back in the training room, and it was the night of our first fights. I was the last to leave the room. I walked out into the arena and it was very bright with hundreds of people screaming. There was a ding, and a large guy showed up on the other side of the ring. He looked over at me. Then everything went quiet and the announcer said "It's fresh bait vs an underling."

I was remembering the rulesI had read, and the underling charged at me and I ran to the side, although the ring was filled with trash like old broken down cars. It actually looked more like a garbage dump than an arena. I ran and got into this old broken down car. The guy I was fighting started banging on the doors and windows and I look over to the passenger seat and see some sort of metal rod. I grab it as he runs at the car. I put it up in a stabby position as he breaks through the glass. The rod stabbed and killed him.

I sit in the car shocked at the series of events that have just occured and the announcer says, "The fresh bait won the match". The people in the crowd didn't look very happy as they traded money around. That was my first fight ever. And DEFINETELY not my last.

It had been a year. And I'm an underdog which is a step up from an underling. By that time, things had changed. I had gotten a mowhawk and was in the training ring as coach came in and said we were going to have a big fight to determine who the champion would be. Champions are the best of the best with only one level above that: The Conquerer. There was only ever one conquerer at a time. I went over to a group of people and we were talking about the fight. They said, "Since you're a noble, you're in the crowds favor". Nobles are fighters who play by the rules, are very rare and are looked highly upon. I just shook my head and walked away. Then the scene again fades to black.

It's the night of the big fight. I go out to the arena and I look at the guy I'm fighting and he's a really bug guy, he was MASSIVE. We start to fight, but he isn't fighting fairly. He runs at me, I dodge and then he turns around, grabs me and throws me into this truck on the other side of the ring. I sat there for a second.

Then I go running back out and he's there, looking at me.

Fuming.

We square off as if we were in a boxing match. Then I grabbed a sharp ended spear-like pole and I run at him but he steps to the side and grabs me. And this guy is probably 8 feet tall, almost twice my height. And he threw me again. I wound up skidding accross the arena. And I was aware of this kind-of ripping on my left side where my ribcage is.

But there was so much adrenaline running theough my veins that I couldn't feel anything. Then he walked up to me, while I was still laying on the ground but then I caught him under the leg and tripped him and I jumped up and stabbed him in the shoulder with the spear and pinned him to the ground. It was exciting.

Then the crowd starts cheering. And things got really bright. And everything sounded really far away. And my ears start ringing. And there's a burning pain in my side near my ribs. I look down and see a trail of blood with snall chunks of skin and my intestines on the floor making a trail from where I was on earlier to where I am now. I look at the other guy, and he looks terrified. Then I look at my side. There's this gaping hole in my side my bones are broken there's blood and guts everywhere. The I look back at the guy who pulls the spear out of his shoulder and sits up. He starts saying something but I can't hear him at all. Then my vision goes dark. And I fall.

Something catches me. It was my opponent and he looks worried. This fight was only to decide who moves to a higher rank and not to seriously injure the other person. I look up at the guy and he starts running. Running to the champions med center. And I was confused because mine was in the complete oppisite direction. The champion's med center isn't very different from the underdog's med center, exept for the fact that they use magic. He walks in and there's this old lady who starts yelling as I pass out.

I wake up and I'm in this hospital bed and there's this old lady who looks angry and is staring at me. And asked her who she was and she said her name was Myrtle. I asked her where I was and she said, "The med center". She said I got a nasty injury in the arena. She points to my side and I look at it and it was like this clear thing that made up my skin. It looked almost like plastic. She said that they had to re-grow my intestines and some of my ribs. She looked at me for a second and said, "I have to get back to work". And walked away. I kinda sit there like a limp noodle for a second. Someone said, "Don't worry, she's always like that".

I looked up to the door and antanding there was the guy that I had previously fought. I asked him why he brought me there and he said, "It's because, even though I didn't fight fairly you did. You're a noble aren't you"?
I said, "Yeah, I am".
And he just nods. I asked him why he brought me here and he said, "Because you fought fair, and not many people do that". We looked at each other for a second and then then Myrtle came in and made him leave. She looked at me and said, "You should be dead". In a rude manner. The she pulls my shirt up and I see the plastic on my sides and she puts her hand on it and it hurt. Alot. She says this magical word and her hand starts glowing. Then I passed out.

I woke up again and Andrew was back and we talked for a while, and I also got to know Myrtle and it turns out she was just this nice old lady. Me and Andrew bacame friends.

Eventually I get released from the med center. I have a while to train. I recovered and had one more fight before I could become a champion. The night of the fight, I talked to Andrew and he said, "Hey, this is a big fight for you right"? "Yeah..."

I walked up to the arena and saw this big dude. Then he tried to yeet me across the arena, but I ducked under him like an asexual during mating season. I picked up a glass bottle and yeeted it right at his eyehole. It got stuck in his eye, and his eye went into the bottle. He threw a log at me and I ducked and picked it up and ran at him, and shoved it through his stomach, and right through his spine. He died. I won the match.

I had become a champion. And someone pulled me aside and said I would be going to become a conquerer. And to do that, I had to face off with the Gallpen. It is a feirce, acid spitting bird. He's a huge, big ol' boi. The fight started, and the crowd got really quiet. I stood there for a few seconds, and I heard this, loud noise that sounded like an explosion from behind me. I turned around and the ground was opening up, like something was bursting out. And then the gallpen came out of the pit in the ground. And he wad HUGE. He had this large, hummingbird-like beak, and was just in general strange-looking. The bird started flying around the arena and started spiyting acid into the audience. I grabbed a metal rod and threw it at the bird to get its attention. And it started coming towards me. It yeeted me across the arena and I died. I then saw a light and moved towards it. I saw a person in the sky and they told me that I was a god and I was to live with them.

Then end.
