Is this real?

Flashback

A five year old Woojin is entering the palace grounds and is covered in dirt, wearing tattered clothes. A woman takes his hand and takes him somewhere. Why is he here? Did he do something to the king? He enters a house which looks better than all the hut houses he had seen in the village he was from. Mom said that he was never going to be hungry anymore when he was taken away by the men who came to take him and there was also a man who dressed better than the other men and looked like he was their boss. She takes him to a room.

Woman: Sit here quietly and wait. A man will come who will take care of you.
Woojin: Who?
Woman: You'll see.

               She leaves and Woojin is left alone. A man enters the room, it's the same person  who was the boss of the other people who came to take him.

Woojin: Are you the man who is going to take care of me?
Man: Yes. I will give you a better life but in one condition.
Woojin: What is it?
Man: You have to call and acknowledge me as your father and I promise you that I will take care of you.
Woojin: But why do you want to be my father.

                    He comes and sits beside Woojin.

Man: Because I can't have children if you understand. Now, do you agree?
Woojin: ...............Ok.
Man: Ok and woman who brought you here, you have to call her mom, understand?

                  He nods.

Man: Now your mom will come and take you for a bath and a change of clothes, then you can have something to eat, is that fine?
Woojin: Yeah.

               Someone knocks.

Man: Come in!

              The same woman comes in and bows.

Woman: His bath is ready, my lord.
Man: You may take him. Woojin, you can go now. I shall talk to you when it is time to eat.

He nods and goes with her.

Woman: So do you like it here yet, Woojin?
Woojin: No, and I especially feel scared of my new father.
Woman: You know, if it helps you don't have to call me mom yet. You can take your own time and when you feel like it then you can call me mom but you have to call me mom in front of your father.
Woojin: I can do that.

She smiles.

Woman: Well then, first lets go to your new room.

He smiles as well after seeing her smile.

Woojin: Ok.

Afterwards...

Woojin: Can I go out for a while?
Father: Fine but go with a servant.
Woojin: Ok

He runs out, a servant catches up to him.

Servant: Young master, please wait!!

He looks back and waits for him. They start walking together. A girl comes in front of them which makes them stop in their tracks. She stares at Woojin for a long time.

Girl: So you are the general's new son!

Woojin takes a step back. Her expression becomes gentler.

Girl: I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare. I just wanted to talk to you, is that fine?
Woojin: Ok.
Girl: Ok. Well, my name is  Sooyoung. Nice to meet you, now what is your name?
Woojin: My name is Woojin, it is also nice to meet you.
