[ the two find a quiet spot to sit and quickly called over the waiter ]

"hello! my name is jimin and welcome to Boy With Dreams. what can i get for you lovely couple this evening?"
SOOBIN
[smiles at jimin politely]
"we'll have two fluffy pancakes with whipped cream and two hot chocolates"
JIMIN
"okay! are there any song requests you would like for this evening?"
[smiles brightly, his eyes forming cute crescent moons]
NARI
"mikrokosmos by BTS!"
JIMIN
"okay sure! i love that song but my colleague loves it even more. beomgyu! please change the song to mikrokosmos for the lovely couple in booth 9!"
[soobin's eyes went wide as soon as he heard his friend's name]
SOOBIN
shit, being here isn't such a great idea.
JIMIN
"beomgyu will be back with your orders! have a good evening!"

[grins and bops her head to the music]

SOOBIN
[nods and smiles at the girl sitting in front of him]

[approaches the pair's table]
"alright! two fluffy pancakes and two hot chocolates for the lovely couple in booth-

[beomgyu looks at his friend in shock and felt his words clog up in his throat as soon as he saw nari]
BEOMGYU
"um.. have a great evening you two"
[bitterness and confusion was evident in his voice as he left the table]
NARI
"hey wasn't that beomgyu?"
[starts to eat her pancakes]
SOOBIN
[sighs]
"yes it was"
NARI
[chuckles to herself]
"yeonjun's going to kill me for not telling him about our date. i bet beomgyu is going tell him before i even have the chance to!"
SOOBIN
"right.. let's just eat and i'll walk you back home okay? i'm feeling pretty tired all of a sudden,"
NARI
[smiles]
"sure! by the way, you don't have to walk me home cucumber"
SOOBIN
[stops munching on his pancakes]
"i insist nari,"
NARI
[sighs in slight frustration]
"i can take care of myself soobin"
SOOBIN
"but still-"
