poem 1- Ode to the brokenhearted

Pondering the tragedy of betrayal.

The unexpected heartbreak. 

back-stabbed and forgiven with a bouquet of bittersweet lies.

Too mighty was the longing for their unconditional love?

Or was it the ever so enchanting persona of everlasting loyalty?

tragically twas A soulmate who wasn't meant to be.

happily ever after may as well be just another simpleminded fairy-tale.
