Father in Heaven,

Forgive my delicate sin.

My sin of love, or thou deem my love forbidden.

As your book of holy contradiction says that I am wrong, wrong to love another woman.

Do you not claim you love your children? Then why should I suffer the eternal flame?

Oh but dare I question your rule, my lord.

For is it true thou mortal men created the holy script of law?

Twas it not cast down from thy Heavenly throne?

And since man has done your bidding, what truth is it I follow?

Christ said love thy neighbor

Not shun the gentle sinner.

Now lord, tell me if you would,

what is wrong with the was I love?
