The shrill cries of the girl echoed around the empty space reminding her she was alone in what she called hell. Slowly she fumbles with the edge of her shirt laughing out of self pity.

" Ahh.... they're numb... that's not good" she mumbled laughing again. Her fingers brush over her stomach rubbing the metallic substance between her fingers. All her bottle up emotions rose to the surface, tears threatening to spill over.

She reminder herself to be still be calm, be ideal. Don't show emotions know matter how hard she wanted to. She trained for this, she wasn't going to die so suddenly. However, it all threatened to be her end.

" Such a fragile body" she leaned towards the wall behind her using it to slide her body down. How much time did she have left? She didn't know. If she could have been stronger, would her fate have changed.

Taking a breath she held in her will to cry uncontrollably. Would it be so bad to die? After all she wasn't living an ideal lifestyle. After the collapse of the human society, they all just became mindless robots. Only working to stay alive like Angi. Only she was an exception.

Pressing a blood soaked hand to her side, she pressed with all her strength, whimpering as pain filled her body and mind, torturing her.

After betraying herself to the cruel monsters that ruled the world, they wanted her dead. Of course they couldn't have someone with emotions remain alive. After all no one wanted to keep Angi alive. She was on the run, until they found her leaving her to die.

Her strength was slipping but she was determine to stay alive. Foot steps echoed around her pulling her back to reality in a hazy silence.

" Who's there?" she whispered not bother to cover her emotions. who ever was there would surely kill her without a single mortal thought. Her head was pressing to the cement below, staring at the ceiling only waiting for death to take her.

Angi wasn't graced with a response, the footsteps continued slowly, gracefully towards her. She closed her eyes, having no energy to keep the open.

" I.. Found you" the voice was hoarse and out of breath, yet it held an alluring musical tone to it. hypnotizing her, wanting to hear more. Warm fingers touched her so gently Angi flinched. The hand pushed the short strands of her hair out of her face.

She shot open her eyes meeting with dark black ones. She gasp, he was so perfect, so beautiful. The way his eyes held so much emotion shocked her. He was definitely one of them, the monsters. He smirked teasing the human as he dangerously trailed his hands over her neck. She flinched, leaning away from the being, scared.

" The blood.... so much blood." he sighed, his eyes softening. He knew he couldn't keep her alive it was against his kinds code, but he felt sorry for her.

" Come on, let's take you back to your real home."

" That... cage? Never again..." she whispered...closing her eyes she waited for sleep. Her time was nearing. Her hands fell to her side, her breathing became shallow, and her body became numb. The pain in her side increase, and she screamed in pain, why did it hurt so bad?

Hands scooped under her body, lifting her up off the ground. She was weightless against him, wishing for him to finish her now. He walked out the door and into the cold night, with the last of her energy she whispered.

" Where are you taking me?"
