"I assure you I am coming back soon" I said smilng at Avery. We were best friends since we were 5 and I always hated leaving her.

"Fine. You better call" She said smiling back.

"If I get cell reception there!" I chuckled. We hugged again and I walked towards the car. I still couldn't believe I was going to Ireland. It was going to be a long plane ride.

We finally got to the airport and I said my goodbyes to Mrs. Dunberry. I walked into the airport and walked towards my terminal. I hated being by myself. I always feel weak and insecure because of what happened in the other foster homes.

"Flight 1109 to Mullingar Ireland is now boarding" I heard on an intercom. I quickly ran up to the gate and stepped onto the plane. It was going to be a long flight.

"Excuse me miss. We have landed" The flight attendent said as she tapped me. Wow I guess I slept the entire plane ride.

I got my bag and headed off the plane. Mrs. Dunberry told me that ther last name was Horan so I looked out for a sign that said it. When I found it a sweet-looking middle aged women was holding it. She looked nothing like what my usual foster moms looked like. With her was an man maybe in his twenties and an older man maybe in his fifties. I smiled and walked towards them.

"Hello. You must be Kenzie" the women said. "I am Maura but you could call me mum and this is my son Greg and my husband Chris."

"Hello I am Kenzie as you all know" I laughed. We got into to the car and headed to their home. Ireland was truly beautful. I just stared out the window the whole ride home.

Once we got home Maura showed me around the house. She showed me the living room, kitchen, den and then we went up stairs. I have to say, this house is pretty big.

"So this is Greg's room, this is Chris and I's room, Niall's room, and finally yours."

"Um Maura who exactly is Niall?" I asked usure.

"Oh yes he is my other son. I can't believe I forgot to mention him! He is also your age and you two will be attending the same school!" She said joyfully. I was anything but joyful. I hated having guys in the house around the same age as I was because of the other guys in my foster homes.

*Flashback*

"Your an ugly slut" He yelled and slapped once more.

Tears began to fall down my cheek.

"Oh and your also weak, useless, and worthless" Slapped again.

*End of Flashback*

"Are you alright hun" Maura asked me.

"Oh yes. Wonderful" I said with a fake smile.

"We have a couple of hours before Niall comes home from school. Would you like to go shopping for your room. It is kind of plain right now" She said trying to change the subject.

"Of course I would" I said with a real smile. She was definetly different compared to my other foster moms.

"Oh and call me mum" She said with a wink..

We came back from shopping and she bought me everything even though I insisted on paying myself but then I realized I was broke so she payed. I took a couple of trips to and from car. We got a lot of stuff.

"We still have time before Niall comes home. How about we unpack?" Maura asked.

"I can't ask you do unpack also. I'll do it myself." I said

"Alright, if you need anything I'll be in the kitchen" she said and shut my bedroom door.

I looked around my room. I was definetly larger than any of my other room. I looked through my window and the view was amazing. Hopefully I could stay here forever.

I started to unpack and I heard someone unlock the front door. It was probably Niall.

"Niall there is someone I want you to meet" I heard Maura say from downstairs. "Kenzie you can come down"

I took a deep breath and walked down the stairs.

"Niall this is Kenzie. The girl that I talked to you about" Maura began to explain to Niall.

"Wait you were actually serious about that? Why would you foster that?" Ouch that hurt.

"Niall" Maura said to him.

"Fine. Enjoy your stay here. I hope you leave soon" He smirked and went to his room.

"Don't worry about him. Give him time and he will come around" Maura said smiling to try to make me feel better.

"It's ok I've experienced much worse."
