"We're here."
On a rooftop directly across the street, I pointed to "Club Foxy", a black building with a sly fox smiling over the entrance.
"Awesome, how do we get in? I don't know if you noticed, but I'm way under twenty-one." Lucius said.
I scanned the rooftop of the building and saw a perfect entrance, a door next to a late gray vent.
"Over there." I gestured to the door.
"Okay, what do we do once we find him?" Lucius questioned.
I grabbed him by the waist and swung both of us over to the other rooftop.
"We'll see." I said.
I crouched down and took out a lock pick, and within a matter office seconds, I opened the door.
We descended down a concrete stairwell, and ahead was a wooden door where we heard pulsating dubstep music.
We walked into a catwalk above the nightclub, with people dancing, and the occasional drug here and there. The I scanned the catwalk for signs of the dealer, but I had no luck.
"Michael." Lucius gestured towards a secluded corner booth, with the dealer in the middle, with a woman by his side, and five bodyguards from what I could tell.
"How do we go about this?" Lucius yelled over the dubstep.
I jumped off of the catwalk and landed on the table on which the dealer was eating on.
He was shocked, but didn't move. Lucius jumped down after I landed.
The woman he was with screamed, but the crowd couldn't hear her over the music, an his bodyguards pulled out pistols and aimed them at me and Lucius.
"Hello, Micheal. It's good to see you again." The dealer said.
"I'm going to tear you apart."I threatened.
"I would live to see it, it would be very entertaining." The dealer said with delight.
The bodyguards placed their fingers on the triggers of their weapons. I was getting ready to pounce and attack him, but then Lucius said "Whoa, whoa, whoa, everybody wait a minute." He held his left hand up for a total of 4 counts, and I was wondering why, but that's when it occurred to me.
When the base dropped in the dubstep, Lucius and I took the offensive. I wheel kicked two of the bodyguards while they were off of their guards. Lucius dodged a barrage of gunfire and uppercut a guard and roundhouse kicking another guard. More guards and some bouncers of the club themselves came because of the gunshots and so me and Lucius dodged bullets and jumped behind the bar.
"Maybe this wasn't the best plan, yeah?" Lucius remarked.
"Did you see him run away?" I asked.
"Yeah, he ran out that way." The dubstep was still going on, but I could make out what he was saying. He gestured over to a wide wooden door over in the farthest room of the club.
I made hand gestures showing what I was about to do, and Lucius nodded, to let me know that he understood. He kept his eyes fixed on the door in the corner, and I threw down a smoke pellet to mask our departence.
The crowd was a massive herd of panic, but with enough shoving and pushing we arrive at the door. The bouncers and bodyguards had now entered a turf war with each other, flipping tables over and taking cover inside the club. Innocent people were running for their lives and I couldn't blame them.
Lucius and I ran out of the club to see where the body guard went, and we saw him and his lady friend running through a dark alleyway that led into the intersection of the city. We gained distance quickly, but then the dealer pulled out a gun and shot his lady friend in the kneecap ad tripped her to trip us, but Lucius and I evaded her with ease.
I launched a grapple at his ankle and when it was inside of his ankle, he let out a shriek of pain, and I tripped him.
He lied next to a trash can holding his foot and I picked him up by the shoulders and started to enact my beating.
I punched him in the face so many times I forgot to stop until Lucius intervened.
"Alright, man, I think you got him." Lucius said. The dealers face was already a swollen mess, but I wasnt gonna stop until his face looked like a rotten tomatoe.
"Michael, stop." Lucuis said once more. I continued without hesitation.
"Michael!" Lucius yelled. I pulled out a Kunai and held the elbow-to- wrist long blade to the dealers throat.
"Go ahead. Do it. Prove your better than me." His right eye was swollen shut and he was bleeding profusely from his nose and mouth, but then he smiled.
The Smile.
That's what set me off.
In that moment I didn't care what he thought of me, or anything for that matter.
In one quick motion, I created a river of crimson from the dealers Adams Apple and dropped his body near the trash can.
I turned to Lucius, who was in shock, but then his expression turned from shock to anger in a matter of a second.
"What the hell was that?! You just killed a man! And you're not going to say anything?!" He demanded.
"If you want an apology, you not getting one. The man ruined people's life's, mine particularly, so no I'm not going to say anything."I said.
I massaged my hands. My knuckles were bleeding again, even with the padding inside the suit.
I grappled up towards the rooftop and left Lucius behind.
I needed to clear my head for a minute and I always do it on the Empire State Building Gargoyles.
