The last goodbye (Angst)

Narrator's pov

As Hawks and Whirlpool sat down at the bar receiving they're drinks from kurogiri they heard a door open and seen Dabi walk in, another villain from the league, of course Hawks and Whirlpool weren't actually villain's they were double agents and they knew dabi had his suspicions

"Hey kurogiri, hey guys" dabi said as he walked to the bar stool receiving a beer from kurogiri and sipping on it

"How did your nightly routine go Dabi?" Hawks asked while mixing his strawberry milkshake around making a swish noise  breaking the silence

"Not really exciting, just burnt a couple houses down, you should have seen how terrified they were, all screaming in terror" he had explained chuckling as Whirlpool now had his hands balled up into fists, he was pissed now

"Oh that's good to know" hawks said taking a sip of his milkshake and putting it down while getting up

"It's about time me and Whirlpool here leave for our nightly routine" He exclaimed getting up and grabbing onto whirlpools hand reassuring him and pulled him off his seat walking out and flying up into the night sky, little did the two know, Dabi was on they're trail the whole time

(Y/n's) pov

As hawks and I flew over town I spotted a still burning house "Keigo there" I exclaimed as he flew down and I started quenching the flames with my quirk

"Damn it at least these people look safe" you heard Keigo say while walking over to them to ask

"I knew you two were doubles" I heard a voice before I was knocked down with a burning pain stinging my left side

"HEY, YOU ASS HOLE" I heard a yell, before I heard the sheeth of two swords and realised what they where when Keigo rushed at dabi

"KEIGO NO" I called out trying to stop him but it was too late, Dabi had shot a huge ball of fire at him knocking him down and he seemed outcold, I scanned him over seeing all the scratches and alot of his feathers burnt off

"Now you'll know what's it feel like to be burnt" He said with a smirk as he shot fire at me but I made a water shield and blocked it running at him and punching him making him fall

"YOU BASTARD, HOW DARE YOU" I screamed and got on top of him punching him making him bleed as I started crying

Third person pov

"(y-y/n)" you heard a weak voice call to you identifying it as keigo as you heard ambulance alarms come down the street as you ran over to him and cradled him in your arms

"I'm so sorry Keigo, it should have been me not you" you cried as your tears rolled down your cheek and onto his burnt cheek

"It's not your fault" Keigo said reaching up weakly and caressing your cheek

"Sir are you hurt?" You heard a new voice behind you as you looked back and shook your head no

"No I'm not i-it's my partner hawks" you said getting up and grabbing him bridal style as you handed him to the person

"Oh dear he's in bad condition" the female said as she ran to the back of the truck knocking on the back doors waiting for them to open then walked in laying hawks on the stretcher, you walked to the back of the truck

"Come on sir, we need you to come with us, so when he wakes up he'll have someone he knows with him" the woman said as she helped you up and into the truck walking you over to a seat as she walked out closing the doors and got into the front as the truck started

You sat in the chair next to the bed hawks was laying in, bags under your eyes with a worried look in your eyes, hawks was currently on life support barely breathing

"Knock knock" you heard a deep voice interrupt your thoughts as you looked to the door seeing endeavour

"Oh hey" you said a bit gloomy, not with your normal bright self

"I heard what happened, I came to say good bye to him" you heard him say as you heard a grunt, whipping your head back to the bed you saw Keigo with his eyes hardly opened

"KEIGO!" you screamed as tears rolled down your eyes and you hugged him

"Listen (Y/n) I know this must be heartbreaking but I don't think I'll make it" he said looking directly at you

"Don't say that Keigo, please I know you'll make it" you said choking on tears as his breathing got weaker

"I just want you to know I love you" he said giving you a slight kiss and pulling away as you watched his body fall limp and the him flat line

"K-keigo no" you said choking on your tears again as you felt arms wrap around you

"It'll be ok, he's in a better place now" you heard endeavours reassuring voice as you close your eyes and suck in a sharp breath

He was gone, and you didn't get to say your last good bye
