Arc2.Ch. 30

Li Yuhan looked at him with piercing glares, enough to make him shiver and have cold in his spines. Those icy glares that Li Yuhan gives makes him think that maybe in his mind, Li Yuhan was planning to stab him and make him feel what he tasted under the claws of the demon in this story.

His red eyes avoided the two circle of black pool staring at him.

"What are ya' standing for? Let me go! You ASSHOLE!!" Li Yuhan shouted. The doors opened and revealed the guards that are guarding the prison, both of them are running inside frantically. Both of them have dark looks on their faces.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO OUR THIRD PRINCE!?" The other one yelled as he point his spear towards Li Yuhan. He have a wrinkled yellow skin, black nails and a crocodile-like head.

The system waved his right hand informing the demons to stop. He tilted his head back towards them slightly and spoke with an emotionless voice. "Go now. I'll take care of him."

The two nodded their heads and went back.

The white haired man a.k.a the system, insert a key on the prison's keyhole and it opened up without a hitch.

"for now call this humble system, Su Yi." He kneel down again.

"The system truly apologizes Due to our incompetence, we led our host undergo into a very troublesome and painful experiences. Which we are truly sorry and guilty. To recompensate to our host, we would like to give you three gifts." After he declared those words, he heavily breathed to continue. He is not really sure about what exactly he is doing right now.

"First gift is me, a living system that will help you solve your problems, I will also shield and protect you at any cost. "

Li Yuhan's eyes rolled.

"Second is a protagonist's halo."

Li Yuhan's eyes looked at him.

"And third is, you would be granted a wish however, not all wishes could be granted. Such as abandoning your mission and Going back alive in your real world."

Li Yuhan closed his eyes and quietly muttered in his breath, "what a piece of shit."

Then he opened his eyes full of resolution and seriousness. He started to talk, "I want to leave and move to a place where the protagonist wouldn't see me."

Su Yi's brows tightened with a look of confusion. "I.. "

Li Yuhan interrupted him, "I'm not  Leaving this goddamn story. I'm just running away. "

Silence soon followed in the empty space of the  room. Su Yi's mouth tightened but he still accepted his host wish wholeheartedly as a recompensation for his uselessness.

And maybe so that his host wouldn't beat him once they leave this place.

"If that's what my host wishes."

Su Yi raised his finger and snapped it. The surrounding changed. It was a cliff, the place is surrounded by enormous flames that engulfed the place.

"The heck?" Why are we in here?"Li Yuhan asked out of confusion. He suddenly noticed the chains that still ties him and looked sharply at the useless man beside him. "You SON OF A BITCH! WHY AM I STILL TIED UO HERE?!" He hissed.

Su Yi looked at him, face full of helplessness.

"This cliff is the gate to the human world. Should I explain?"

Li Yuhan nodded.

"There are two gates here in the underworld. The first one is used to bait humans to enter here. However even if they tried to escape, it would be meaningless. They have to find the second gate which allows human to leave this place."

"But why is there something like that built only for humans? And why do demons seems pike to leave this place using both of the gates freely?"

Su Yi felt like he was teaching a toddler. "The reason why it is built is unknown. But for the second question, demons can both enter and leave this place freely if they want to. Now are you satisfied? "

Li Yuhan shooked his head and showed the chains on his arms and legs, "I still can't move."

Su Yi, Inspite of the fact that he can manipulate ice, he still couldn't help but to sweat. Not because of the fire surrounding them, but because of Li Yuhan.

"T-that... Is a problem... "He stuttered. Trying to find the right words to say.

"Why?"

"B-because only the demon king could unlock those chain. if you want to be free.. We should cut your Limbs again."

The man beside him flushed in anger. "The fuck? The hell I would want to! No way! FIND ANOTHER WAY YOU FUCKER!"

the system helplessly shook his head as his claws slowly show up. "But there is no other way. But I can let you feel numbness. Are you prepared?"

Sharp, painful screams erupted.

On the other side, Wen Yunfan's group who was busy on panicking, tilted their heads towards the direction of the piercing cries out of pain.

Wen Yunfan felt weird, those screams somehow is similar to Li Yuhan. Even though he is still not sure, he still bit on the last hope. He called out, "Yuan?"

"Yuan? The heck are you talking' about?" Wen Yanmei asked voice full of questions and uncertainties.

"I'm sure of it. It is his voice. YUAN!!!"

the monsters kept on coming closer, until a voice echoed. This time it is closer to them. A figure showed up upon the flames. The fire that engulfes the endless plains froze and turned into small crystals of snow. If a normal human would see this, they would thought that this is magical and a knight in shining armor has come to save them. However, for a group of cultivators who had seen and killed hundreds of demons, it is not at all.

The man who have a shiny and long white hair, have a red eyes and a mark on his eyes symbolizing that he is a demon.

And on his hands, he carries a man who had all his limbs cut off. The man was breathing heavily almost as if he is dying.

Upon looking closer he found out that it was non other than,

Li Yuhan.

A surge of unexplainable anger rose up on his chest, Wen Yunfan's eyes reddened as he yelled out loud his voice hoarse. "WHAT THE HELL HAD YOU DONE TO HIM?"

He immediately risen up into action. He unsheated his sword and a glinting blade was exposed.

He arched his sword down as he tries to slice him into two pieces. But it was nothing for the demon standing in front of them. In a flash, he avoided the sword.

The three watch unable to move.

"Master Wen! Please! Let me explain!"

Although his mind was still in haze he still managed to hear those words. He gritted every words that escaped his mouth. "Then EXPLAIN AS YOU AVOID THIS BLADE OF MINE!"

"This demon only wants to save Master Yuan! I do not have any other plans against him!"

Wen Yunfan sword slowed down and stared at him seriously. "You came to save him?"

Su Yi nodded. As he holds the body firmly.

"He has been cursed. He won't die! I'll explain it later. However everyone must jump on this cliff!"

Everyone stared at him giving him the thought, "do you think we're dumb?"

Su Yi sighed, "I'll explain later. If you want to jump then jump. We will be going now!"

And with that, Su Yi and Li Yuhan both jumped off the cliff.

Looking at each other, each one of them shared the same thought.

Their target already jumped off the cliff so what is the point of staying there?

Soon, all of them jumped off the cliff.
