At first it was just a normal day in Minato, Tokyo. The sun was out, not a cloud in the sky, and the temperature wasn't too hot or too cold. It was perfect weather to walk home in for Rei Hino and Makoto Kino, better known as Sailor Scouts Mars and Jupiter. The two were remarking how things have been rather quiet lately, usually there would have been an attack by some sort of enemy by now and it felt like these kinds of things happend almost regularly at least one a week. The two thought that the peace and quiet was nice for a change, but unberknownst to them, this was only the calm before the storm.
As the two passed by one of the parks, a loud shriek could be heard.
"I knew it was too good to last...." Rei sighed.
"That didn't sound good..." said Makoto with concern in her voice.
"Yeah, we should check it out."
the two rushed into the park to get an idea off just what was going on, no doubt it had to be another creature from Queen Beryl preying on the innocent. The two ran in to see people fleeing the park, few of which were running around on all fours for some reason. Things were not normal here.
"What's going on here?" Makoto asked.
"I'm not sure, but something definitely feels off..." Rei replied,
the two then spotted a man on the ground who appeared to be flopping around on the ground.
"Sir are you okay....?" Rei asked him,
but he didin't respond.
"Glub...glub..." was all he said he continued to convulse on the ground. It was a though this man had the mind of a fish out of water.
"What's wrong with him......?" Rei wondered,
Makoto then tapped her shoulder and pointed to the scene around them.
"I think whatever's happened to them is going around...."
Makoto points to others in a similar state.
All around, it seems people were acting like animals. There were a couple of kids who were parking at each other like puppies,
an old man who was slithering on the ground like a snake, ahd a woman who had somehow climbed all the way up a tree and was perched on a branch she chirped like a little bird.
Something had made these people belive they were animals. and it was still here, just deeper inside the park.
"You're right..." Rei told her friend.
"...we need to find whatever's doing this and stop it now."
"Should we call the others?" Makoto asked,
wanting to be cautious for whatever was waiting for them.
"No, we can handle this ourselves. We have to act fast, or this whole park's going to become a Zoo!"
Rei was more determined to end this chaos here and now. Makoto wasn't as sure but she didn't disagree. The two found a remote area where they would not be seen by the civilians who still had there minds intact and within seconds transformed to become Sailor Mars and Sailor Jupiter!
The two Sailor Scouts rushed in the direction where these spellbound people seemed to be coming from and the closer they got the more victims they found.
Suddenly they heard a familiar voice.
"Meow, meow!~" it cried out. it sounded just like Minako Aino, another friend of theirs and fellow Sailor Scout, but she couldn't be mixed up in all this, could she?
