Y/N POV

"You've been in a coma for 6 months." Cash said, while hugging me and finishing Mavericks sentence.

My breath hitched in my throat while I looked at all the boys. "What?" I asked, my voice cracking again. The boys looked at me with sad expressions on their faces.

"I'm so sorry-" Sam started but I cut him off.

"Don't be sorry. It wasn't your fault." I said, my voice still raspy. Suddenly I noticed a boot on my foot. "Well that's great." I said, making all the boys turn their attention to my foot. A few of them laughed a little at my reaction while the others smiled, all except for Sam. He looked at my leg and got even sadder.

"Y/n-" Sam started but I cut him off again.

"Seriously Sam it wasn't your fault. That deer came out of nowhere." I said and he nodded before looking back down.

"I'll be back." He said, before walking out of the room.

"I'll check up on him." Josh said before following him out the door and down the hallway. I turned to the other boys and they gave me small smiles or looks of sympathy.

"I want everything to go back to normal. Like nothing ever happened." I said and the boys nodded. Suddenly a doctor came into the room. He was looking at a clipboard before he looked up at me.

"Looks like everything is looking good and you can go home whenever your want. You may have pretty bad headaches for awhile though because of the impact of the tree." He said and I nodded.

"Thank you." I mumbled and he nodded before walking out the door. Soon after a nurse came in and unhooked me from everything. I gave a small thank you, once again, before she walked out of the room. "Anyone bring clothes that I can wear?" I asked, looking down at my hospital gown.

"I think I have some in my car. I'll go check." Joe said, heading out of the room.

"Hopefully he gets some rest and actually eats now." Jason whispered to Payton but I still heard.

"What?" I asked and Jason's head shot up to me.

"Joe has barely eaten or even slept for the past 6 months." Jason said and I looked down instantly feeling bad.

"He would barely leave this room too." Cash said, looking at the ground.

"Yeah, the only time he left was when we made him take a shower or eat, but he came straight back here." Maverick said and I looked back up at all of them.

"I'm sorry." I whispered and they all looked at me.

"This isn't your fault. He just couldn't stand not knowing if you were gonna be okay." Jason said and I nodded.

"He really cares about you." Payton said, agreeing with him.

"You all care about me." I said and Maverick shook his head.

"You'll understand sooner or later..." Maverick said, and I got confused.

"What do you mean?" I asked, but my door opened again.

"I found these sweatpants and a sweatshirt but they'll probably be hu-" Joe cut himself off looking up at all of us. "What's going on?" He asked, looking at all of our expressions.

"Nothing, we were just talking." Jason said and everyone nodded, but I didn't take my eyes off of Jason.

"Okay..." He said dragging the 'y'. "Anyway they'll probably be huge on you but here you go. And I found this slide since your shoes got destroyed." Joe said, handing me a pair of his clothes and a single slide.
