This Strange Life of Mine

First day of school. The new school. It's coming. I have no idea what its goin to be like considering I have no friends except for Lane. And I seriously don't think that i look enough. I think I'm just straight up ugly.  

I put on my normal one piece bathing suit. I go down to the beach alone ,hot guys starring at me like I'm an alien. Go figure. 

I'm just walking on the beach and watching the ocean and next thing I know I'm laying on the ground after running into a very tall,blonde, girl who seems to have been playing frizby.  

"O my gosh I'm soo sorry!!"said the girl. 

"It's alright,I wasn't lookin where I was goin." 

"I'm Delilah. I've never seen you around here,are you new?" 

"I'm Jaycee. I was obviously nit lookin where I was goin."I said picking up my broken glasses. Crap,now I have to wear those stupid contacts. 

"Hey, there's a party on Saturday. Do you want to come over to my house and I will help you get ready for the party and you can help me get ready for the party?" Wow. A new friend already. I guess I'm good at this!! 

"Sure,sounds fun! But one thing,I have a best friend that just moved here with me,can he come too?" 

"Of corse! I'll just text you the address to my house and the directions to the party for your friend!"

********Saturday Night********

"Ok so do you where makeup?" 

"No" 

"That's gonna change!" 

"But-"before I could object she was paintin My face like it was a canvas.

"I'm done! You can look now!"I looked in the mirror and saw a beautiful girl that has never appeared in my mirror before. I was shocked. Maybe it was her mirror. I don't know.

"Do you like the way you look? You look great to me! And I know just who will go after you." She said winking. 

"Who?" 

"Kyle McCall" 

"Is he hot?"force of habit to say that. I was imediatly embarrassed. 

"He's hot alright! He's the quarterback of our football team but he is so nice and caring once you get to know him!"That's a change. Guys likin me? The only guy who has really talked to me is Lane and my brothers. 

"Totally! We better get going."

When we got there, Lane was already there and he had all ready made friends as usual. He's just like Colby, his big mouth won't shut up. But in a good way. 

When we walked in the door, he looked at us and took a double take. His eyes were as big as softballs. 

"Jaycee?!" 

"Yeah its me."I say with a smile . 

"You look amazing! Your...beautiful." it was my turn to be shocked. Nobody accept my parents has ever called me beautiful. And thats when there was a look in his eyes that I had never seen before, that i couldnt read. It was like the light inside his head had just went off. Oh well, ill figure it out later.

" OH MY GOD! SEXY JUST WALKED THROUGH THAT DOOR!" I jumped at the big, tan, football player walked up to Delilah and gave her a hug. He was hot, i cant deny it.

"Who's this?!"

"Shes new and her friend is here too."

"Well I'm Kyle McCall. Are you with him?"
