Chapter 3: Love and Love affairs.

Fred's P.O.V

I still couldn't believe it! Hermione was actually kissing me?! I pulled away from her and she licked her lips and smiled. Wow her smile is beautiful! She started to giggle to break the silence. The noise that came out of her mouth... was amazing, I've never heard a more perfect sound. She stopped laughing and said "Oh merlin! I'm sorry Fred, I have to go see Ginny. I will be right back. Don't move, keep the iced peas on your burn! It will help, I promise." She smiled and left and I gave out a little chuckle. Then I remembered my burn was aching, so I did as Hermione said and I didn't move and I placed the frozen peas over my chest. I smiled as I remembered Hermione couldn't take her eyes off my abs. Man, I should have told her that I tried to do the cruciartus curse on Ron. But I completely forgot as she came in the room- looking lovely as always. Then she kissed me and my mind was only on how beautiful she was the other night at Harry's Yule Ball. Thinking about her there even made me smile.

Hermione's P.O.V

What did I just do? I kissed Fred! Oh Merlin! Why did I do that? Ok just breathe. I walked into Ginny's room taking deep breaths. I looked over and saw that Ginny looked like a half-ton-tessie! Her belly had grown so much since I had left. Harry -being such a good fiancé that he is- was sitting right next to her and holding her hand! They were both in deep conversations. Too deep to even notice that I had come in. I cleared my throat and Ginny instantly ran up to me and gave me a hug. She whispered in my ear "What's wrong? What's happened? Is Fred ok?" I gently pushed her away from me and I told her "Fred's..... great!" I said in a dreamy way. I was thinking about how good a kisser he was! Ginny looked confused and then I realised that she meant how was his burn? So I suddenly said "It looks really painful and it feels really hot. So I told him to put a bag of frozen peas on it. But what I don't understand is that he said that Ron threw boiling hot water onto him for no reason." Ginny looked even more confused. "Why would Ron throw boiling hot water onto Fred that makes no sense" harry added into the conversation. We all sat down on the floor thinking about what we thought actually happened. "so you think Fred did something first?" I asked harry. Harry suggested "we don't really know what happened and that story doesn't add up. Why would Ron do that? He wouldn't. That's the answer. Ron's like dynamite, he needs something to trigger him off, he wouldn't just do something." I am so lost and confused why would Fred do anything to Ron? None of this made any sense to me!. "OW!" Ginny whispered loud enough for both me and harry to hear. "What's wrong babe?" harry asked very worriedly. She did look pale maybe something was wrong. She looked as though she was 7 months pregnant now and getting bigger by the second. "I'm fine, just a little- ow! I think... I think the baby... its kicking!" harry instantly wrapped his hands around Ginny's stomach. It didn't matter that they aren't married yet: this baby is going to have the best family ever! "I'll leave you two alone." I said just before I walked back down to Fred's room. "hey gorgeous" Fred said to me as soon as I walked in. I didn't even bother say anything to him I went over kissed him on the lips and smiled.

Ron's P.O.V

Oh god what did I just do? I had to, he threw a cruciartus curse at me! That was my only choice, right? Right just go through and see if he's ok. I walked- well more like ran through- to Fred's room to apologise about throwing hot water onto his chest. However, when I walked into his room I saw him sitting on his bed, kissing someone. No, not just someone! My Hermione. "What the bloody hells going on here?" I shouted whilst slamming the door behind me. They instantly pulled away from each other realising that I had entered. Fred was the first to talk "what does it look like? And by the way, why did you do that?" he was obviously angry as well. I retorted as quick as I could with "It looks like your kissing MY girlfriend-" but I was interrupted by Hermione "wait girlfriend? I think you'll find we broke up! You broke up with me!" tears were running down her eyes. I had no idea what I was going to say, but I replied with "oh come on, we were having a fight. Clearly we didn't mean the things we said!" "I did!" Hermione shouted back at me. Now a lot of bad things have happened in my life but I have never been so hurt than right now! "So that's it? We are over." Hermione was crying really badly now. My eyes flickered over to Fred who was standing in the corner looking really awkward. I looked back at Hermione who was trying to get her breath back. I walked over to her, placed my hand on her cheek and wiped her tears with my thumb. "I'm really sorry, Ron." She started to say but I stopped her "shh, shh, shh, I know." She looked up at me and all I could do was look into her big beautiful brown eyes. I had a huge urge to kiss her right then but she just broke my heart. I gave her a hug again and tears started falling down my cheek.
