Looking at her made Sal nervous, which seemed odd to him. He'd known (Y/n) ever since he'd moved into Addison Apartments, she was his next door neighbor. He didn't think much of her when he first met her, simply because he didn't think she'd want to be around him. That had changed quickly after he realized how close she was with Larry. The two had known each other or years, like since they were really little. It had started out fine, (Y/n) and Larry welcomed Sal with open arms, and everything was great. Sal has people who accepted him. The problem came in when Sal had to see her every single day. He wasn't necessarily complaining, it was just that she made him feel weird. He remembers that one time she grabbed his hand. It wasn't a big deal to anyone else but Sal. When she touched him Sal had felt something inside of him jump. His skin went all haywire and when she ended up letting his hand go he was pouting underneath his prosthetic. It was honestly pathetic and Sal hated it. He also hated how he had to share (Y/n) with so many people. Larry wasn't an issue since he knew about Sal's feelings, it was Ashley that Sal was worried about.

Ash was constantly taking all of (Y/n)'s time and it was horribly irritating to Sal. He knew that the two were friends, but he couldn't help the itching feeling of jealousy that had been crawling through him whenever he thought of them together. He tolerated them being that close because he had to, that was until he found the note at least. He had been going through (Y/n)'s closet looking for one of her sweatshirts, the big purple one that was way too big for her. As he was pushing articles of clothing around, something had fallen to the floor. She kept her backpack in her closet, so a little piece of paper had fallen out of her bag. Sal had picked it up, about to put it back in her bag. That was, until he saw her name on the front of the little piece of notebook paper. It was addressed to (Y/n), three little purple hears circling around her name.

He had read it, anger boiled in his blood.

"No way in hell, Ash..."

Sal shrugged off his black sweatshirt before slipping on (Y/n)'s purple one. He let his hair down before ripping up the letter that Ash had written to (Y/n). He threw it away before making his way to his apartment. He had a study date with (Y/n) later and he wanted to take a nap before he had to do any kind of work.

He'd have a conversation with Ash later.

{HC that Sal wears his s/o's clothes lmao}
