Chases POV I grab her a towel and wrap her with it, and sit next to her. "I'm sorry for ruining your night you can go back in and have fun it's fine.." she says with sorrowful voice. "No need to be sorry you did nothing it's just Cynthia, I don't know who invited her." She shrugs her shoulders. I adjust the towel and give her a quick side hug and say "do you need to shower? I'll give you space." She nods and smiles, I leave and go downstairs to burn some time. While I'm downstairs Cynthia approaches me. "So your with Charli now?" She asks harshly "Huh?" So your with Charli now?" She asks in an even more harsh way. "No were just friends..." I say knowing I'm somewhat lying. "hmph I can see why, she is ugly anyway..." Cynthia exclaims. "Why are you even here? you're being obnoxious, Charli didn't deserve that. she is smart, the most humerous and goofy girl ever, and she is absolutely gorgeous for your information, and so much more, I don't know what has gotten into you!" I yell. Everyone is watching in awe. Thomas saves me from embarrassment and leads me out of the hall. "I'll be upstairs" I say frustrated. When I get up I see Charli with a towel wrapped around herself "Um chase? I don't have anymore clothes..." she says embarrassed. "Oh um it's fine you can wear mine, one moment." I go to my room and grab a fresh pair of sweatpants and a hoodie. "Here" I smile. She grabs them quick still wrapped around with a towel. I think to my self about what I said to Cynthia, "damn, I really like her..." I say under my breath "what was that?" Charli says walking in taking her hair out of the hoodie. "Well what I'm tryna say- well I uh meant" I sigh. "I like you Charli. like-like you...I love being around you." She sits down beside me with her hair still wet. "Your not too bad yourself" she giggles. I lean in pretty quick. I look in to the specks of her eyes and kiss her.

She kisses back and puts her hand gently on my neck and I slowly break the kiss and i just look at her. "What?!" She giggles. Your just so pretty. She rolls her eyes "OK Prince Charming"she yawns before she can finish her sentence. I smirk, hold her hand and lead her to her room "good night, Charli." I roll the "R" "night" she smiles. I look at her one last time before I close the lights and as the clock strikes 12. I whisper "happy new year Charli" and leave.
