Chapter 1: first day

September 3rd, first day back at school. It's my last year in high school and I can't wait to leave. I have always hated school. I know what you're thinking. "everyone hates school" me, I get pushed into lockers everyday and have people tell me that "I'm worthless" or say that "I should have died instead of my mum" yeah, my mum died 2 years ago in a car crash which I was also in. There was a dear in the middle of the road and my mum tried to miss it. We ended up in the river. The police say that they found me on land, that I was pulled out by someone but we never found out who. I never met my dad and I was now living with my older sister Jess. She is 30, so she had moved out before all this had happened. I now suffer with bad depression. But please don't feel sorry for me. I hate it.

Anyways first lesson was maths. I hate maths. Maths is the lesson where I have to sit on a table where all the guys think it's their job to make my life hell. I walked into the class room and all the guys were already there. "oh look it's katie. I thought she would have killed herself over the summer" one of the boys said and they all started laughing. I isn't say anything I just took my seat. "ok, that's enough. Settle down everyone. Right before I begin I want to say welcome back and I would like to introduce a new student here 'Nathan sykes' the teacher began. Pointing at the new boy at the end so we new who he was. Me and the new boy made eye contact for about 5 seconds. Man! He is good looking. He must think I'm a freak by what that boy said when I first walked in.

The day soon came to a end. I still couldn't get nathan out of my mind. There is never going to be something between us. He is probably going to end up being another person that takes the piss out of me. I hate to think what his first impression of me was. That night I dreamt of Nathan.
