Chapter 8: meet lisa

It had been a week since I had my nightmare. I decided to give Nathan a chance. Like they say 'you can't judge a book by its cover'. Me and Nathan were walking hand in hand when his phone started ringing. "Hello" he answered. "Are you sure?" He asked. What's going on? Bearing in mind I could only hear half of the conversation. "Ok I will be right over" he said then hanged up the phone. "What's going on?" I asked him. "It's time for you to meet my sister" he answered.

We turned around and started walking the other way. "So where are we going?" I asked him whiles trying to keep up with him. As he was walking so fast. "We are going back to my house" he answered. Not turning round to look at me or slow down. "Nathan can you slow down a bit?" I asked. Maybe that wasn't such a good idea. He picked me up and went at the speed of light. Well that's what it felt like. We were at Nathan's house in seconds. Wow! His house was huge. He then out me down. Then grabbed my hand and started walking fast towards the door.what was the hurry? He has been acting really weird and kinda scary since the phone call. When we were inside we made our way to the living room. Man! This place was huge. I felt out of place. When we were in the living room there was a girl with brown hair half way down her back. With her back turned towards us.

"What's happened?" Nathan asked and girl turned round. "This must be Katie. Hello I'm lisa" she said ignoring Nathan. then pulling me into a hug. I knew she was a vampire judging by how cold her skin was. "Nice to meet you lisa" I replied when she realised from hugging me. "So what's happened?" Nathan repeated. "Oh there has been a animal attack. It's no one I know though. I couldn't work out the scent" she answered pulling her glasses back up. She suited glasses. "By animal attack you mean?" I asked being curious. "Vampire" lisa answered me. "There's more of you?" I asked kinda shocked.

"You'll be surprised of how many there is. Attacking like there humans" she replied. I didn't think this town was full of them! "I will go check out the scent. See if I know who it is. If now we will know if its the same one next time" Nathan said to Lisa. "If I drop Katie off home and go check it out?" He asked Lisa. "Yeah come back and tell me wherever you know or not" she replied. Nathan then took my hand and headed for the door. Why was he being so distant? We walked up to my front door and I turned around to face him. He was just about to turn round and head off when "Nathan, have I done something?" I asked him making him stop. "No why?" He replied. "Because you have been really funny with me today" I answered. He walked over to me and out a hand either side of my face. "I just want to sort out this vampire. To make sure it doesn't hurt YOU or anyone else in this town" he replied. Before I could say anything he out his lips onto mine. Giving me a passionate kiss. Then within seconds he was gone.
