Trippy, a man that wears an old brown tv on his head, unlocks a door, from the inside, to a shop that is much similar to starbucks, except its labeled as 'Chocolate Onion, the galactic coffee shop' (it's actually a doughnut shop). He turns the sign from 'closed until 2am' to 'open until 7pm' and walks back to the closest table. Once he finished putting down the chairs, he walks towards the counter and sets some small meals to be preheated in a small oven. After everything else is done being set up, he sits there behind the cash register and waits for his first customer. With his hands together, and his two blue eyes on his screen smiling, and overall displaying unrivaled positivity. A few hours pass, and Trippy is seen mopping the floor, with there being no customers in sight, he continues waiting.
Just.
Waiting.
Waiting.
Waiting.
By the time it's 12 in the afternoon, Trippy is seen once more sitting behind the cash register just as he was before. He looks over at the clock displaying '12:37' and says
"They should have been here 30 minutes ago... wonder what's holding them up?"
More and more hours pass by and Trippy is still waiting for his supposed customers. Trippy looks over at the clock again, it displays '6:58'. Trippy looks back towards the window, and sees no sign of life. Just like the last 2 weeks, 3 days, 18 hours, 58 minutes and 47 seconds of work time. 51 seconds of work time. 52 seconds of work time. 53 seconds of work time.
"Stop that" Trippy yelled out at the narrator- ... ... yeah ok...
It was almost time to close, about 2 minutes until closing time at least. So Trippy sat there, waiting... 2 entire minutes pass and Trippy prepares to close up the shop. All the food that wasn't eaten was put in small white boxes, and he put all the boxes in a red bag. Hauling the bag over his shoulder, he turns the sign to display 'closed until 2 am' and leaves after locking the door from the outside. Getting hit by the sudden winter breeze, Trippy tightens his grip on the bag, and gains his footing on the ground, and marches up the street, going against the forces of nature.
After a few minutes of walking, he reaches a dark alleyway that is littered with trash and ripped clothes. Entering the dark alleyway, he finds a few homeless people keeping themselves warm with campfires. They see Trippy and quickly surround him. Each one seems to be just waiting to receive something, and they do. Trippy swings the bag around in front of him, and unloads the contents inside, he calls out the names of the meal he is holding, and waits for the closest person to call out to him. This repeats a few times and after a while, everyone is well fed. This happens a second time, and after that, everyone is well clothed with blankets and jackets. Seeing everyone being satisfied once more, Trippy wishes everyone present a nice evening, they return the favor, and he takes his leave.
Walking back out into the winter breeze, he bundles the red bag into a ball, and stuffs it into his sleeve. Shielding his screen from the cold, he makes his way back to the 'coffee' shop. On his way there, an explosion goes off in the distance, this explosion is followed by 2 more, and then another.
