Hey guys!! This is my first story (that I plan to actually write) please don't ruin my confidence lol. Btw the majority of this will be in Baileys POV

It's almost my sixteenth birthday and I have NO idea who my soulmate could be. I haven't gotten my mark yet but I hope it's not to bad, I've seen people who have their marks in weird places. Oh! Sorry, I haven't even introduced myself. Hi, I'm Bailey Miller, I'm 15 years old and I live in Denver, Colorado with my mom and 2 brothers, I'm bisexual and one of my brothers is trans ftm. My sixteenth birthday is three days away and I don't have a single clue who my soulmate could be, I hope it's my girlfriend Kate. God, she is the most amazing and beautiful girl I've ever laid my eyes on, she has red hair and eyes the color of the ocean, and she has these adorable ass freckles dotted all across her face.
God, I love her so much. She's a lesbian and she always wears her her hair swept to the side or a loose bun, I think it's adorable personally. I'm non-binary and use they/them pronouns. But anyways, back to the Mark thing. I live in a world where everyone gets a black or red mark where their soulmate will first touch them. The mark is black if you haven't met your soulmate and it's red if you have. I want mine to be red for obvious reasons. I'll get my mark at midnight the morning of my birthday. I plan to stay up all night with Kate until it shows up, the first place Kate ever touched me was on my face. We were talking and she put her hand on my cheek and just left it there, I remember that day like it was yesterday.

HEYOOOOO!!! I know this part was short but I ran out of ideas, but in the next part, shit gets real. Anyways, bye for now 😂  btw this is what Bailey looks like:
