The man runs to me grabbing my wrist forcefully pulling me to my feet. Before my mind could process that he actually shot the place up, we were already outside.

An all black vintage mustang coming into view. My eyes widen at the sight of the it's tinted windows and beaming rims. Despite our, well his situation he opens the door for me as I hop in. He runs to the other side before sliding in. He inserts the key, twisting it causing the engine to roar to life.

He speeds off into the road. Thankfully the streets seemed deserted because by the speed we're going at, things wouldn't end well.

After a few minutes, he finally spoke.

"So we're going to be on the road for a while, might as well we both start to get to know one another."

I remained silent, my eyes glued to the window. We seem to be pretty far from the diner already.

"I know you aren't deaf or mute love," The man chuckles.

"Sorry that Im not acting like you didn't just murder a dozen people!" I snap.

"It was quite more than a dozen actually, don't forget to count the waitresses," I could hear the smirk in his voice. This guy is literally insane.

"But my name is Harry, just incase you were wondering."

I remain silent. He can't be serious.

"Jesus Olivia I didn't someone as pretty as you could be so rude," Harry says. I feel my face redden from his comment, but then realization hits me.

"Before you think I'm some creep, your name is written on your bag along with other personal information," He answers my thoughts. I huff in response and slouch further into my seat. Why am I still sitting here?

"It's Liv, and why exactly did you basically kidnap me?"

"I definitely did not kidnap you."

"Most definitely did. I wouldn't have told, if anything I would have just pretended to be in shock or something," I say truthfully. I don't have time to be apart of some crime scene. Harry chuckles, his dimples reappearing.

"How would I have known that? You already seemed like you disliked me from the beginning so who said you wouldn't rat me out?" Harry glances over at me. He does have a point, but he doesn't even know me.

"So where are we going anyway?"

"You just love to ask a million questions don't you?" He snaps.

"I sure do. Especially when I'm literally here against my will," I huff crossing my arms.

"Not against your will love, you're free to leave," Harry comes to a stop on the side of the road. Our surroundings seemed very unrecognizable. I roll my eyes in annoyance. I grab my bag from the back seat and hop out the car. Harry's all black mustang speeds down the road, becoming smaller the farther it went.

I sigh as I begin to walk. The sun begins to set. It's going to get dark soon. My mind begins to travel to my dad and what he could be doing right now. By now he's probably in the process of tracking me down.

After what seems like hours of walking, the moon is now in full view. I glance up at the sky. Bright stars that were scattered across the jet black sky. A small smile grew upon my lips at the thought of my mother. How beautiful and bright she was. How she was the only person who was capable to genuinely make me happy. Her warm smile that could soften my mood at any given moment. She was the only person who could keep me sane --- and now I see how much I've really changed within the last few years.

My free hand digs into my hoodie, finding the small necklace that laid warmly on my chest. I run my fingers along the engraving. After a few deep breaths to keep myself from letting the tears escape my eyes, I come across a small gas station. The black mustang once again coming into view.

And to my surprise, there stood Harry. With his gun in hand as he aimed at the cashier.
