Between Me and You

Cassidy's P.O.V

Things go great if your surrounded by people that you don't know. I'm a new student at Rolan High School. It's sort of a big school, but the worst part is that people stare at you and your looks. They're very picky on new students. I think they despise me. I looked at my schedule to see what's my first class.

1- Biology

2- Pre Algebra

3- History

4- English

5- Leadership

6- Dance

My schedule is kind of gay, but once you get in your classroom, people would stare at you and ignoring you. When the bell had runged, I went to Biology class. When I walked in, it happened. People had stared at me and made weird look. I just walked in and took a seat next to a cute guy. He smiled and looked away. Why doesn't he just said hi? I say to myself. The biology asked me," What's your name, ma'am?"

"Cassidy Robertson." I replied.

"Ok, I need you to get out a notebook and James would help you out on your head start. Right James?" He asked the guy next to me.

"You betcha. Okay, Cassidy. I'm James. Is it okay if I can see your schedule?" He asked me while the teacher had left.

"Sure." I gave him my schedule.

"Wow, I have every one of your classes except fo dance." He smiled at me.

"You don't like to dance?" I asked.

"I do but dance classes are not for boys." He looked sad.

"Wow. They should do dance for boys." I suggested.

We chatted. Looks like I made one friend.

James P.O.V

Cassidy is really nice. When Biology ended, I took her to Pre Algebra class. My girlfirend, Karen, stopped me and kissed me. Cassidy just walked away into the classroom. Karen asked me,"Who was that?"

"A new student name Cassidy." I said.

"You're not going out with her? Are you?" She asked in curiousity.

"Of course not, why would I be?" I asked.

"Just wondering that's all. Well, I'll see you today after school." She gave me a quick kiss and walked off with her friends.S

I walked in and saw Cassidy looking around the classroom. I walked in and sat next to her. She didn't say anything much, she looked at me and stared away. When class started, we had to turn in our homework except Cassidy cause she's the new student. I wrote in my notebook to write a note to Cassidy. I wrote "Are you okay?" I folded into pieces and gave it to Cassidy, but the teacher had caught me."James, you know the rules. No note passing."

"Sorry Mr. Jenson." I apologized.

"Okay everyone, I need you all to get out your notebook and write down the following question in page 3 in your interactive student notebook. Then, in your textbook, you will find the answers in your textbook. After that, you may silently read for a couple of minutes. You may start." Mr. Jenson gave us instruction. 

30 minutes later...

The bell had rung as Cassidy walked toward me,"I am so sorry I didn't speak to you in class. I was just upset about my 1st day here."

"It's okay. Want to have lunch with me after school?" I asked her.

"Sure. Come on, we have to go to class." We both walked through the hallways.

Karen's P.O.V

When I walked out my class, I saw James walking to class with another girl. What the heck? Okay, she's done enough. I walked into History class and sat next to James before Cassidy was going to sit next to him.

"Sorry, this spot is taken. Why don't you go to another seat, bye." I waved good-bye at her as she left to another seat.

"What was that for?" James asked me.

"I've seen you've been walking her to classes. I thought I told you to stay away from that chick?" I was mad at James and Cassidy.

"Come on baby. You know I love you more than anyone here. In fact, I got two tickets to see Katy Perry's concert on Saturday night," He held two tickets in my hand."What do you say?"

"Alright, as long as you don't invite... what's her name again?" I asked.

"Cassidy." He answered.

"Yeah. As long as you don't invite Cassidy." I said.

"Okay, I promise." He kissed me on the cheek as I made a "better watch out" look at Cassidy.

She looked away and was upset. That makes me happy.
