"Roommates"

I lay awake starting at my roof waiting for my alarm to go off, I don't know how long iv been awake for, I don't even know how much I slept.

College. It's scary.

Today is my first day of college, over 8 hours away from home.

*beep* *beep*

I take a deep breathe in and then release. I get out of bed and take a shower.

After I'm ready I head downstairs and Sam is already here. Sams my boyfriend and he's taking a gap year before he does college.

"hey" I say as I come down the bottom of the stairs into the kitchen

"Hey babe" Sam says giving me a hug and a soft kiss on my lips.

I smile at him, but my facial expression soon change when I realise I won't get that for a while.

"What's wrong" same says

"I'm. Im just gonna miss you" I say

"Awe, baby, it'll be okay. I'll call you every night"

Soon mom walks in and gives me a hug. It's only been my mom, my younger brother josh and my older brother Asher since my dad left when I was 4.

After a long ass drive and many hours later, we finally arrive.
I start to feel a little nauseous. It's so big.

"Are you okay sweetie" my mom says

"Uh, yeah"

We find my room and I open the door, my mom and Sam walk in before I do. I stand in the door way until I hear a male voice behind me

"Are you gonna move."

"Um, sure." I say

Is this my roommate? I boy? A pretty cute boy?

I saw the look on sams face when he saw my roommate walk in.

"Are you my roommate?" I say

"Looks like it, I'm Beau." He says

My brother Asher comes in with my last box
"Hey beau." He says obviously hearing him introduce himself

Beau smirks

"This is where you tell your name." Beau says

"Hey, don't speak to her like that." Sam says

"Woah, it's fine Sam, uh I'm Loren" I say

Sam takes my from the room and he seems a little concerned
"Do you wanna swap rooms" he says

"No, I'll be fine"

"I don't trust him, Loren" he says

"But you trust me, right?" I say

He doesn't say anything and I walk back into the room.

Mom decides it's time to leave after she hugs me for a long time. I say my goodbyes and it's  pretty sad.

I get back to my room and beaus setting up his things and I start to set up mine.

Beaus hair was brown and Curley and his eyes were a dark shade of blue. His skin was pretty tanned but I couldn't do that to Sam.

"Did I scare your boyfriend" he says turning around

"No." I say
