Everyone was watching the scene unfold. Fear in their eyes as they watched Junior cut off three of the man's fingers.
"So, how do you like cheating now, Daniel?" Junior grinned.
"H-how do you know my name?" The man's face as white as a ghost from blood lost. He looked like he was trying to hold back his screaming.
Junior laughed. "A magician never reveals their secrets," Junior cleaned her knife and hid it up her sleeve.
Junior left the man and went to her office on the highest floor of the casino. The casino was home to a gang. A gang ran this casino for extra cash. To be 'better than the rest' as Junior puts it.
"Did you really have to do that?" A girl in the corner asked. She wore a green sweater and black jeans. Her name is Rose Henry.
"I know what God would say. I don't care. I don't believe in Him," Junior replied. "People will cheat less."
"I would've asked them to stop. Not cut off his finger."
"When I was younger, I tried that. The man tried to touch me and-" Junior paused for a moment. "Lets say my boss at the time, didn't like that very much." Junior played with her metal bat. That metal baseball bat could smash skulls, dislocate shoulders, deflect bullets and, do much more. She called it the 'Bat of Death'.
"Look, all I'm saying is that-"
"It goes against your religion. I know." Junior interrupted. "Look, no offense to you Rose but, from personal experience, I just don't like Catholics."
"None taken," Rose grumbled. "Why did you call me here in the first place? I assume it's not because you wanted to complain about Catholics to a Catholic."
"You're right. Lets make this quick, shall we?" Junior went behind her desk and pulled out a bunch of files and went searching through them.
"Lets."
"Here it is," Junior pulled out a file and handed it to Rose. " I want you to bribe this man in any way you see fit. Just as long as he's been bribed. I heard Dessy paid a lot for this man for our little meeting tonight. I need him not to shoot us."
"But, this is my cousin. He could never shoot us," Rose protested.
"Just like how a Catholic would never join a gang but, here we are."
"Junior, this is insane I-"
"Rose, your cousin isn't the same man anymore. He obviously caught the eye of Dess somehow. You'd be protecting him from that lunatic thief. Dess is a dangerous man to work with. So am I but, I don't murder my clients like Dess does," Junior stared into Rose's eyes.
"Okay, I'll do it."
"Perfect!" Junior smiled and clapped her hands like a five year-old.
"I'm gonna regret this, aren't I?" Rose asked but Junior just smiled and nodded as Rose left the room.
Junior sighed and leaned back in her chair. "Dess, you are so going to regret this."
