God's Love, Won't Let Go

When night has fallen

When fear is common

Still You're calling me

When faith is lost

And my hope exhausted

You will be my strength

Through all our troubles God is there, and has been since the beginning of time. Many people say that if God is good why do bad things happen? Bad things happen so that we can glorify Him through it. We know that God can give us strength through our hardships, all we have to do is depend upon Him. We have the choice, the decision to ask God for help.

2 Corinthians 13:9 We are glad whenever we are weak but you are strong; and our prayer is that you may be fully restored.

2nd Corinthians 12:10 That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Isaiah 40:28-31

Do you not know?

    Have you not heard?

The Lord is the everlasting God,

    the Creator of the ends of the earth.

He will not grow tired or weary,

    and his understanding no one can fathom.

He gives strength to the weary

    and increases the power of the weak.

When my mind says I'm not good enough

You won't give up on me

We can give up on God, but he can't give up on us. It says in the bible that once we except God as our saviour, and that he died on the cross and rose three days later, you are excepted, and can not undo it. Although your faith may waver at times, your salvation is based on the faith of Christ. Therefore, the only way to lose your salvation is to find the faith of Christ to be faulty. Which is something that we can not prove because we know the faith of Christ is true, and holy.

Hebrews 6:4-6 4It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age 6and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.

1st Corinthians 3:16

Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?

Psalm 139:13-14

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

Joshua 1:9

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

1st John 5:1

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

It is truly impossible for God to stop loving us. It keeps repeating, and repeating, and repeating, like an echo. For God is Love. And Strength. And Peace. We can find these things truly, only through him. For surrender to the Lord and comfort will greet you. Glorify God, sing his name to the heavens, do whatever showing Love to God and others looks like to you. Work happily, not in selfish conceit, but in humility, and out of love.

1st John 4:7-8

Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. 8 But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

Romans 5:8 - But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

1 Corinthians 13:13. 13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.

1 John 3:1 1See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

In every season

You keep repeating promises to me

Now there's no stopping

Until it is complete

Nothing, not Jonah, not Daniel, not any being whom has tried to take over Gods kingdom, not even Satan himself can stop what God has set out to do. For the Lord will always keep his promises.

Joshua 23:14 14"Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the LORD your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed.

2 Corinthians 1:19-20 19For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us-by me and Silas and Timothy-was not "Yes" and "No," but in him it has always been "Yes." 20For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God.

And I am certain that god, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. Philippians 1:6

Only God is the author and the finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2)!  And what God has ordained for you and I cannot be stopped!
