They say that Dionysus was once known as the Greek god of ecstasy. He was even known for having a cult of followers, mostly females. He would attract them with songs and intoxicate them with wine. Maybe he was quite possibly just the first guy, in ancient Greek times, to party with a bunch of women until they became blackout drunk; so drunk to the point where they exhibited strange behaviors. This is the story of the history of the cult of Dionysus, the dark history of the clones that mysteriously "invaded" Earth 12,000 years ago - the story behind the cult of the clones.

It is modern day. The year is 2050. A certain girl with long, straight, golden blonde hair and facial features resembling that of an ancient Greek goddess is seen outside of a college building of Palmtree Beach State University, a part of Palmtree Beach which is a city that is part of the Jambad province of Fukusha. She is college-aged, with the pale demeanor of a student lacking in sleep and poisoned by stress. This particular scorching summer morning in August has been surprisingly dry and pleasant, which she wishes she could enjoy. She swipes an ID card in front of one door, trudging inside a dorm building, then swipes the same card in front of another door. She hastily tosses her backpack to floor, which lands with a heavy thud, falling backwards onto an unmade bed as she kicks off her white flats. Almost instantly, her eyes shut, the distant sound of waves crashing onto the beach lulling her to sleep.

Jennifer's dream was wildly vivid. She usually doesn't dream such vivid dreams, feeling a sense of alarm as she entered into a deep stage of sleep. Everywhere was dark and strange, as if she were swimming through mud. She felt as if she were about to suffocate. But then, out of the corner of her eye on the right, she noticed what appeared to be a vision of herself, wearing the same clothes - yellow blouse and flowing short black skirt - taking on her exact appearance. It was her, but it wasn't her. The vision of herself, which wasn't herself, reached out and took hold of Jennifer's hand as she also reached through the murk, out to the vision of herself. She blinked once, and the vision of herself took on an entirely different appearance of another person entirely; the vision had dark blonde wavy hair, dark gray eyes, a different skin tone even. Jennifer gaped, blinking again, and then the vision disappeared, along with the murky-dream world.

She was instantaneously transported to an ancient world, with stone buildings unlike anything she was used to in her modern world. Glancing around, rolling green hills unwound before her, a slight breeze blowing out to an unknown distant sea. The air tasted like salt as she turned her attention to the cold gray stone beneath her feet. She noticed her clothes were gone and mysteriously replaced with what looked like just a white sheet. She wondered why she was barefoot, but turned her attention up when she heard women's laughter and a man singing a strange song. Curious, she wandered over to the source of the sounds downhill. As she neared closer to the source of the strange cackling and masculine singing, it sounded cacophonous.

A church, painted white, revealed itself from behind the hill as she came nearer, with architecture resembling a church from ancient Greek times. Jennifer's curiosity deepened along with the fear and warning signs telling her to turn back around and never come back - but she couldn't seem to resist, feeling as if she were being mysteriously summoned towards the source of the jarring sounds. She wanted to turn back, deep down, but continued on. As she stepped foot outside the strange church, she momentarily stopped as the laughing turned to jeering, followed by an odd shrieking cry for help. An evil aura rolled outside from the church as the masculine voice she heard stopped singing and started cackling along. She could hear faint sounds of eating, as if a predator had lunged straight into its prey and ate it alive. The fear inside her amplified greatly, as she suddenly felt faint. What's going on in there? Am I supposed to go inside there and watch? I'm way too scared.. But... she thought, gulping down her anxiety and wading through the dark aura emanating through the wide-open doors of the strange church-like building.
