12 years ago:

My dad was in the military and he was out on an assignment when my mom got a call from them telling us my dad had died out on the battlefield and that they were sorry for our loss. My mom was devastated and after that, she started doing more things that my dad did and she started getting really stressed and wasn't around for any of my dance competitions anymore ( I do freestyle) so, my old friend Emma, her mom took me since she was in the same class as me for the time being. When my dad died, I stopped doing dance and focused on gymnastics. Yes, I did that too, but I focused more on the contortion side of things. When it was finally my first competition I got first in the comp.  When we were on the way home, my mom wasn't looking where we were going and we got into a fatal car accident. My mom died in the accident.

Present time:

I am in an orphanage and have been for the past twelve years, I have been adopted seven times but taken back each time. Emilia, as you would call it "the queen bee" trips me as I'm coming down to do chores since Carrie, the owner makes me do all the chores. When I finish the chores, I go out into the busy streets of LA and grab my penny board and I sit by the big tree in the city and sing Can we kiss forever by Kina.  I got lost in the music and didn't realize I had a crowd and was I dancing along. "Wow, you're amazing" the one with the pretty blue eyes said. "You're so good" the cute one with the blonde hair said. "Corey, you might have to dance battle this girl, she might be better than you." the only girl said. " I just might have to, by the way, you're super good." the one with the man bun said. "Thank you" I told them. I put my head down, waiting for them to leave, but each of them put a twenty in my hat. "I don't deserve this." I told them. " Yes you do," the one with the beard said. " Well, I have to go, but thank you so much." I told them. " No, let us drive you back home." the blonde said. " It's a short walk back, thanks though." I told them that even though the orphanage is about a thirty minute walk and I have to do chores still. They all said goodbye and we went our separate ways. I arrived back and was greeted by Emilia and her minions. " Where were you?" she asked " Out earning money" I told her. " well, there's dishes to clean and the laundry needs to be done." she sneered and left me. I finished chores and waited for everyone to go to sleep. When I was sure they were all asleep, I snuck out the window and I texted Autumn, my best friend. We have been best friends since she came, we instantly clicked. We were always sneaking out, and Elena, the other caretaker, knows we sneak out and tells us to be back before I have to do chores and before everybody wakes up. As I'm waiting for everyone to go to sleep and to text Autumn, I hear Emilia and her minions talking. " I know, but we should make her life miserable here, she deserves it for just being here and especially because of what she did to you, Emma.
