I feel sorry for Leslie, I truly do but what I did was what anyone would have done. And I wouldn't say I murdered her, she was already dead. Besides, people die everyday, it's a casual thing nowadays. But there's no need for a single worry now, I buried her body far away yesterday and it was a bloodless death, so it wasn't too much hard work. Right now, I've got other things to worry about, quite a lot actually. I'm meeting someone this morning, someone I haven't talked to in a while. I walk out of my apartment building and take in the early morning feeling. When you really see Scarsdale, you realize how gorgeous it is. To me, I defy the beauty of it by the people. They're not too crazy & outgoing, but not completely antisocial morons, they're simply going out to live a decent life, maybe I'm so interested in them because my life would never turn out to be decent.

I walk down the path where the Spring leaves fly past my feet. I can hear limited noises of vehicles driving by, it's a saturday, everyone is sleeping in. But I've got unfinished work to discuss with my friend. I look for the Cafè sign around the street and see it, it's one of those hippie-vegan-aesthetically-pleasing Cafè's where young adults in their 20s go on the weekends. It also seems quite busy from the looks of it. I take a look through the window and walk around towards the entrance and the door is already open for me, I guess it really does give you a cozy feeling. I walk in with a smile and search around for my friend, Jade is her name. She's picked a table with only two chairs in the corner, a quiet space. I sit down slowly and acknowledge her.

'Morning.' She says.

'Morning.' I lightly reply back.

Jade's pretty relaxed if I can be honest, she's not necessarily an introvert but she has that sense of calmness. She's also a wacky hacker and somehow in Middle School she trained herself how to be really good with the internet; I could really learn from her. She can get me intel on anyone I want, I just give her a name and she can gather all details in a minute.

'Rough night?' She sips her tea.

I stare at her milky, fresh tea. Of course, it's an Earl Gray. To answer her question truthfully, it was a rough yesterday morning. Leslie's questions were getting on my nerves, but I'm glad she didn't write anything down. She interrogated me the old-fashioned way.

'Yeah, I guess you could say that.' I laugh nervously.

'Well then, you're free to take a couple sips from my Earl Gray. You know we both have two sugars in our tea.' She smiles.

'Trust me, I'm fine, thanks. Update me, did you get any private information about Leslie Richards? The one I told you to look up last night. You got my text, right?' I ask.

'Yeah, I got your text, blankface. The search was easy, I'm telling you, this lady is all over social media, like I mean it, she's famous but not famous at the same time. I'll send you the screenshots of her profile. She seems to be very public; single mother, used to work with the police, works out all the time and posts daily. What is it this time? I mean why do you want to know about her? You've never even mentioned her name, I'm curious. Are you trying to date a thirty year old woman?' She questions, seriously.

'Are you kidding me? Mind how formal I sound but that's inappropriate and it's also weird that you thought of that first. She's just some little nemesis I had issues with back in the day. Just send me the screenshots and then if you really want intel, I'll give you intel.' I answer.

'Alright, alright. Sent. Whatever you're up to, it better be worth it. Now c'mon, time for the fee, pay up.' She exclaims.

'C'mon, you said she was easy to look up. I'm not paying you twenty bucks just for basic, google information on a public single mother.' I shrug.
