An overwhelming amount of knocks on his apartment door pulled Bigby out of his dreamless sleep.
He hastily scrambled out of his blue armchair and straightened his tie gently.
He swung open his door to greet Snow White on the other side.

" Good Morning Mr. Wolf, can you please assist me with this?" She asked calmly referring to the stack of case files and paperwork in her slim arms.
Bigby carefully retrieved the heavy pile from the deputy mayor's arms.
She smiled gratefully and led him to the elevator.
"So... Snow, um how are things?" The sheriff asked, running his left hand through his thick, unruly curls.
Snow White turned her head slightly, her sapphire eyes focused on his chiseled face.
"I suppose one would say it's been quite stressful but I guess I can manage it... thanks for asking,  though" She replied, her sweet, gentle voice making a smile form on Bigby's face.

The Elevator door opened slowly as it became clear that the coworkers had reached their floor.
The deputy mayor rushed forward and opened the door to Bigby's office, due to his hands being full, he gave an appreciative nod as he gently placed the paperwork on his desk.
"Can you get that done for me by two o clock  please?" Asked Snow.
Bigby nodded and began filling in several forms that were sprawled across his messy desk as she closed the door.

Bigby was exhausted by the time he had finally finished the paperwork.
He breathed a deep sigh of relief when he realised it was only 13:15pm, he still had forty five minutes to relax.
The wolf opened a pack of cigarettes and pulled his lighter out of his pocket.
He flicked the lighter and it ignited but suddenly a gust of wind blew it out...
Hang on a minute... how is there wind inside unless- no... it couldn't be!
Thought Bigby, a scowl forming on his face.
The door to his office was slammed open and he was greeted by the North wind  ...
The Sheriff remained silent, refusing to even make eye contact with his father.

"Hello Son ..... " the North wind uttered coldly.

Bigby looked up for a brief second, his amber eyes had turned a fierce yellow and a frown was glued to his face.

"How in the f*ck  do you have the nerve to call me your son? ..." spat Bigby bitterly.

There was a tense silence that seemed to drag on for eternity before the North wind responded.

" Whether you accept it or not my child We share the same blood I'm not asking you to show me affection I'm simply wishing to engage in a  conversation with you, can we do this without you acting so childishly " replied The North Wind,  his emotionless eyes staring sinisterly at his offspring.

Bigby took a drag of his cigarette and looked up at his father with narrowed pupils.

"Just tell me what you want and get the f*ck outta my life" mumbled Bigby disheartenedly.

The North wind was startled at the fact that his most aggressive cub had kept himself under control.

" I'm pleased you have finally learned how to act rationally my son, However I cannot ' get the f*ck outta your life ' as I need your help with a very dire situation... " whispered The North Wind eerily.

Bigby put out his cigarette with his shoe and stood up, pushing his chair over in the process, his teeth were grinding together and his eyes were turning a venomous scarlet.
" You want my help?! You really think that I'll just put behind what you've done  and help you?! After what you did to my mother?! The only person in the world that loved me is gone because of you and you want my help?! Forget it *sshole,  you want my help- go F*CK YOURSELF!" Growled Bigby, feeling his blood boiling violently.

The North wind attempted to hide his surprise but failed miserably, his neutral calm expression had turned to one of soul shattering guilt and emptiness.
