Snowfall

The North wind looked across the room at his son guiltily.
"My child I deeply regret what I  have done to your mother, it was not my intention, the north wind will always continue to blow, which means that I must do the same..." sighed Bigby's father softly.
The Sheriff's eyes slowly retreated from scarlet to hazel. He slumped down into his chair,  overcome with despair at the memory of his mother's death.
"Tell me what you want already..." He murmured, his voice gravelly from the years of smoking huff 'n' puffs.
His father studied his face analytically, before continuing,
"Your brothers have been slain," The North Wind announced, his eyes darkened with fury.
Bigby raised an eyebrow, his brothers had always been cruel to him during their childhood, always pushing and shoving him, stealing his scraps of food, simply because he was the smallest and the weakest. They had never been even civil with him, so why did he feel this pang of emptiness in his chest when those words entered his sensitive ears.
"Who did it?" He whispered, fully aware that his father could still hear his voice.
There was no response.
"I said, who did it?!" He demanded in a fierce snarl.
It was then that Snow suddenly decided to make an appearance, popping her head around the door to address the sheriff.
"Mr. Wolf? I'd appreciate it if you were to be a little- oh..." she stopped part-way through her sentence, her azure eyes wide with alarm as they fell upon the large man standing in front of Bigby's desk.
He was almost twice as tall as the big bad wolf, his hairstyle was similar, however it was a mess of tousled, bright white hair, his face was clean shaven, and his clothes were a lot more extravagant than Bigby's. He was wearing a grey winter coat, accompanied by slacks, black dress shoes, and a white scarf, even his eyes were grey.
"Uhm, who are you sir? I'm afraid you can't be here without an appointment," She told him politely.
The North wind chuckled, his voice deep, rich and smooth.
"Miss White, I don't believe we've had the pleasure, I'm the North Wind, Bigby's father," He announced, his deep voice rumbling through the small office. Snow looked startled and was about to inquire further when Bigby spoke up, his eyes glowing yellow.
"I thought I told you to stop fucking calling yourself that!" He growled, feeling his teeth growing sharper with every word. Snow White stepped back fearfully, and Bigby instantly retracted his teeth and claws, his eyes returning to amber.
"Mr. Wolf, what on earth is happening?" Snow demanded, her hands on her hips, glaring at both of them.
"It's family business, dear, I think you'd best scurry on back to your desk and take your phone calls, wouldn't you agree?" The man cooed to her condescendingly. Her eyes narrowed with fury.
"There is a lot more to my job than that, smartass, and without an appointment I'll thank you to leave," She said coldly, her eyebrows arched with determination.
"Woman, do you know what I am? What I can do?" The fable asked, rising up so he towered above her. She stood there, fists clenched at her sides.
"Try me." She challenged.
The North wind shrugged, and began to transform, seeing the ears begin to sprout from atop his head, Snow stumbled backwards into the corridor, only to have him follow her.
"Shit..." murmured Bigby under his breath, leaping over his desk, scattering paperwork everywhere, and following them.
There was a colossal, jet black wolf with scarlet eyes, his fur standing on end, snarling at the woman, who was desperately trying to scramble away.
"Stop right now!" Barked the big bad wolf, feeling his teeth beginning to sprout again.
The North wind continued to advance on Snow White, who was now curling in on herself, her charcoal grey pantsuit creasing, as she buried her head full of ebony hair in her knees.
Now in his full wolf form, Bigby said something he hadn't said in years.
"DAD! THAT'S ENOUGH!"
The North wind stopped in his tracks, inches from Snow's face and then turned his huge furry face, looking at his only son in astonishment. "You called me dad..." He muttered softly, slowly transforming back into a human. Bigby did likewise and then rushed over to Snow White, standing in front of her protectively. She latched onto him like a lifeline, peering over his shoulder at the wolf's father with contempt in her lapis eyes.
"I had no choice but to call you that, you don't fucking listen to anything else," The wolf retorted in a hiss, his arm still shielding Snow from him. Bigby looked at her, sternly, "Snow, we'll talk later, this is important," He told her, squeezing her shoulder gently.
She didn't object, mostly out of fear,
"Very well, Mr. Wol- ... Bigby, and thank you," She responded, dropping the formalities briefly to show her gratitude.
As she slinked away back into her office, he turned to face his dad, his arms folded across his chest.
"Wanna explain what the fuck that was for?" He snapped, his eyebrows furrowed.
"She got cocky, you of all people know I can be a bad enemy, the girl shouldn't have punched above her weight," He said to his son, nonchalantly.
"If I hadn't intervened, you would've killed her! Wouldn't you?" The short man growled accusingly, his fists clenched.
"Perhaps, why did you intervene? Have you formed some sort of emotional attachment to this woman?"
Bigby's face flushed bright red, and he looked down at his feet, stammering in frustration,
"No! Well... yeah, wait no! That's completely irrelevant, she's my friend! And I didn't want her dead, is that so hard to believe?!" He exclaimed with utter embarrassment flooding throughout his body.
"Well, I was beginning to think you took after me, you have built up quite a reputation for yourself, bloodthirsty and murderous!"
"Shut up! I'm nothing like you! Now either tell me what I need to know or just fuck off so I don't have to look at you!" Bigby roared, his voice echoing through the building.
"What is it that you wish to know?" Mused the North wind, reasonably calm for someone who had just been told to fuck off.
Bigby sighed,
"Who killed Hunter, Gnasher, Blaze, Grazer and Frost? And why did you feel the need to tell me about it?"

"Reasonable questions, both of them. One, your siblings were killed by a new wolf hunter, with specially designed silver bullets, and I felt the need to tell you, because I'm certain that you're next on their list..."
