chapter 7 the halloween dance

Lea (a girl in my class)

It was the day after the haunted tunnel. And everyone was tired cause, well it was halloween night last night. I went to school with my costume in my backpack ready for after school since I wouldn't be going back home after school. The dance started at 6 and we had to set everything up. It was only 7:40 in the morning when I arrived in the caf wondering how we'd plan it this year. A few minutes later my best friend Alexandria walked in to the caf and took her seat next to me and we started chatting about her getting a new phone soon. I was happy for her cause she has been wanting one for a while now. Everyone in our group of friends had one, Alison, Ariane, Lea, Sydney and me. No kidding it must be really sad being the only one out of your group of friends not haveing a phone. Then Araine walked in and sat next to Alex like she does everyday. In the caf we sit in the last table near the end, and even tho we dont have "assigned" seats we always sit in the same spots. Araine at the end cause she is left handed, alex beside her cause they are the best of friends, me next to Alex cause well why not, alison fluctuates cause she sometimes dosent sit with us. And then lastly we have Sydney, she sits at the end of the table in front of Ariane. We never really accnolaged that we all sit in the same place cause it's kinda natural for us.

*Time skip (cause I'm lazy)*

*Briiiiiiiiinnnnnnnngggg*
That was the last bell of the day. What a relief school was over now time to plan the dance. So I went to the caf to see that the tables were already moved out of the way and that we had some people already setting up. There was a few people that were there having fun so I joined them. The was lea, wyatt, william, alison, and a few others that I didnt catch their names. I went up to watty and asked if i could join.
"Hey Wyatt do you mind if I play with you guys?"
"Nope go ahead, I'm about to leave so you can take my place..!"
"Thanks Wyatt!"
"No problemo"
I played with them for a while then we desited that we should probably help set up the dance even tho we have another 2.5 hours left to do it. As we were setting up we found this cool looking plushie so we started to play around with it. But we played a little too riff with it and it broke we felt so bad that we put the peaces together and left it in the box. I look at will and he looked at me and we both knew that we would be in so much trouble if whoever's this plushie belonged to found out that we broke it...

*Another time skip😅😅"

I went with Lea to get myslfe ready for the dance. We went to our lockers and got our costumes.
"Hey lea, whatcha gonna be t'day?"
"Same as yesterday...!"
"Cool!"
"I guess. What about you what are you going to be?"
"I gonna be the Skelequeen's maid instead of the skeleton queen."
"Cool I guess..!"
"Thanks"
We got ready and left the bathroom. I went out to see that everything the food and drinks were set up properly. I went to miss Martell room to put all my stuff at when kevin walked in.
"Hey gabby who did your makeup?"
"I did it myslfe why?!"
"I was wondering if you could make me look like a girl."
"Are you sure about that cause I will make it happen.!?"
"I'm sure could you do it?"
"Yea I can you better get ready!"
When I was done i told kevin to go look in a mirror and he was like
"Omg I love it I look so much like my character....!"
And to see that miss Shmith was the DJ of our dance like every year that she has been at the high school. The music started as more student filled up the caf everyone was haveing so much fun and I was on the side drinking a rootbeer with Ella, Wyatt, Will chatting away with me in the moon until I snapped back to reality. Omg! I went up to will and whispered in his ear
"Will, the plushie I know who's it is and they wont be happy...!"
"Who's is it"
I took him away from the group of people and told him
"It belongs to Sydney"
"She wont be happy to find out that her favorite plushie has a ripped arm...!"
"Ummmm.... what should we do?!"
"How about we dont tell anybody and keep it to ourselves kay?"
"Okay good idea...!"

*Time skip to after the dance (cause nothing else interesting happened)*

I was getting my stuff ready to go and I made sure that I didnt leave anything else in miss Martell room and headed out to meet my dad after I said bye to William.
