"Hey dad whats up ?" I answered while driving to chick fil a .
"Where you at ?" His deep voice said .
"I'm on my way to chick fil a , whats wrong ?"
"We have a target , I need you to head back home so we can discuss everything ." He said seriously.
"Gotchu , bye !" I said making a u turn and speeding home .

This would be my first target . I'm supposed to show my dad that I'm capable of joining his mafia in action . Pulling up to our driveway I saw a bunch of our guards and different guards outside the door .
"What's going on inside ?" I asked Diego , my favorite guard .
"Mr. Polibio and your father are having a meeting ."
"Thank you" I said running inside .
Holy shit . Mr. Polibio is my dads closest friend and if they're having a meeting it means business.
Running upstairs I see mattia walking back and forth outside my dads office .
"Whats up b!" I said hugging him .
"Hey ale . What ... are you doing here?"
"What are YOU doing here ?" I said confused since I live here .
"I asked first."
"Ugh , I'm supposed to go in with my dad to discuss something . "
"Shit , you're the new assassin??" He said shocked .
"Yes sir why ?"
"I- , never mind go inside they're waiting for us . "

Opening the big office doors , mr. Polibio and my dad were staring at me .
"Ah ale , heard you're being promoted to assassin?"
"Yes sir" I said proudly .
"Well good thing I have a hopefully easy target . Mattia and I will be heading home now but your father knows all the details . " he said giving me a side hug and leaving .
He's always been like a second father to me , and mattia my older brother . We always used to have sleepovers when we were younger while our fathers went out and did their business . It all stopped when puberty hit him and all he did was fuck with girls . Oh well .
"Sit" my father said .
"So this is your target . His name is mariano castaño . You have exactly one month to kill him . He lives in Ottawa so you'll go and live with your brother for the time . Here's a packet of all his family and relationships with people . Take this and study it for tonight . You'll leave tomorrow , and I hope I can count on you . " he said handing me the packet giving me a kiss on my forehead .
"Of course dad , I won't let you down ." I say smiling and doing a pinky promise . Something we've done since I was a kid . I didn't exactly know about the business back then but I knew it was dangerous , so I made him pinky promise me he would come back alive .
