How did i get Diabetes

I got diabetes when i was 13 years old how did i get it i told my mom that i was not feeling good so she took me to the hospital and they check my blood pressure and my pulse and they check my blood sugar it was 500 to 600 they said you might have diabetes, i said what i diabetes they said it's when your body is not getting enough insulin in your body.
So we when to a specialist and they said i am a type 2 diabetic. So now i am 17 years old i am a type 1 diabetic i check my blood sugar 4 times a day or 5 times a day sometimes. And then i felt a liitle better but they still tested more stuff the said i had high blood pressure i was like what are u joking around with me.
