My eyes widened. It was Kevin, but it wasn't Kevin

"Oh Tyler, you thought you could protect her forever. But alas, the Fates had other plans."

Ty growled. Like an animal. "Actually, I was only going to train her. You just rudely interrupted me."

I frowned in confusion. Train me in what? We were talking!

Kevin laughed. "Train her in what?" He voiced my exact thoughts.

"In this," she growled. She rose her hands like she was asking for a hug (but from Kevin idek why). That's when the the sky darkened like a storm was forming; the ground shook like the earth had heartburn, and skeleton hands forced their way through; plants grew madly around her; then fire randomly started sprouted on them. It was terrifying.

"You dare challenge the most powerful demigod in the world?" Her voice boomed across the destroyed lot.

When I glanced back at 'Kevin', he looked petrified. Like he'd just witnessed his mother get murdered. That's what scared me: Kevin was obviously pretty powerful (he'd destroyed the whole house), but he was terrified of my cousin.

"Now leave demon, before I destroy you."

He took that offer quicker that I could say, "No"

When he left, Tyler sighed in frustration. "Well, little cousin, it seems I have to take you to camp now."

I almost died form excitement. "Will I see my new cousins? Will Percy be there? No, that's obvious. It's the summer!"

She laughed. "Yes, you'll see them. Even Percy. And you'll get to see my twin, and my other tiny siblings." She groaned, but I knew she was joking.

"Will I get to see Thalia?" I know, Thalia wasn't normally there, but the Hunters could have stopped by!

"Not this time little cousin. Maybe in a couple weeks, though."

"YAAAAAY!" I screamed excitedly. She rolled her eyes and chuckled at my antics. I know, I'm just that hilarious.

"Come on, Lis. We need to get to camp."

I stared at her like she was crazy ('cause she is).

"How exactly Miss 'Old Demigod'?" I asked, because dude, we live in Oklahoma, not New York.

She smiled mischievously. "You'll see little cousin."
