It's a funny feeling. Feeling broken and betrayed. Feeling like your heart had been ripped from your chest. It's actually not funny it's just pain. I'm sitting in my car. Just staring. It was almost 9 when I walked out of the youth building. Now it's 9 and everyone is exiting, going to their cars or talking to their friends. My tears have dried to my face and I'm just...staring. I see Dylan walk out with his head hung low and he walks like it pains him. He strides to his car and leaves rather quickly.

I'm still in the parking lot after all the kids have left. I didn't realize when I had got here that I parked by Pastor Korey. He walks outside and locks the doors of the youth building behind him. He glances up and sees me. He stops. We have what seems to be a staring contest for a bit of time. He looks down at his phone and it looks like he sent a text and then he walks over to the passenger side of my car and taps on the window. I unlock the doors and he shuts the door as he sits in the car. We sit in silence for about 5 minutes until I just can't bare the silence.

"I'm sorry that I made a scene." I say softly as I fiddle with the steering wheel.
