Swan Lake

Prologue

Screams erupted from the darkened room.

They weren't screams of pain.

No.

 These were screams from a glorious new gift that God had graced for the rulers of the Kingdom Theodorsa.

The King and Queen were an enchanting couple. The King with his raven hair curling around his face, but with sharp chiseled features as if a doting scuplter spent his every waking moment to get every feature right. He also had dark midnight eyes as if all of the shadows on Earth swirled around them showing the fierce firmness inside of them. Though in those dark pits were complete love and adortion as he gazed at the wife who had just delivered their gift to the world.

The Queen was the complete opposite of the King and instead of his dark devilish looks, she was an angelic beauty. With long white blond hair that waved gently to her bossom and such blue eyes as if the gods cried tears of losing their child to the mortals down below. Her eyes also showed of love and adortion as she gazed down at their new given gift.

Their new given gift was a beautiful baby girl.

They could already tell she would be beauty when she grew older. Her head already full with blonde hair like her mother and soft blue eyes like lapis lazulis. Her cheeks were soft rosy red, showing signs that she was a healthy babe.

"What shall she be named." said the Queen still looking down at her child.

The King thought for a moment. His daughter needed a strong name. One that represented the Kingdom she might one day rule.

"Odette, my dear, for the wealth and strength of our Kingdom." Responded the King.

"Odette." The Queen thought," Such a beautiful name for one that will truly own the heart of the man that will one day be her husband."

And on they looked at their precious child who would one day be cursed in such a way it would seem like a gift.

Okay, so I came up with this while I was listening to the music of the ballet. It came to me instantly and I couldn't help, but write it down. It was so easy to write too. I didn't expect that. I don't know when the next chapter will be up. Probably around Wednesday since I never really have anything to do that day. Though I have been pretty busy lately with homework so who knows.
