'Kate and I sat in the long cafeteria. I was soo happy to have no press or anyone who actually knew me when I saw William surrounded by people. I was happy not to be involved in that aspect of life. It also helped that I was from a small country.

"I am named after Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Sterlitz too.. your queen."
