The child sat the stairs waiting for her parents to come home. Her name is Anne Grace, she is 19, with violet-grey eyes, pink-full lips, and jet-black hair. Her dad has the same color hair but with green eyes. Her mom has brown hair and brown eyes. She looks nothing like her mom, she has a little brother but she never sees him as he lives with her grandmother, they use to always fight so the parents split them up. She saw her dads car drive past the house, her stomach sank. She knew what that meant. She knew they were going to grandmas house to see her little brother. The day of her birthday they’ve always done this, for the past four years. She hated it, she hated them. She ran to her room and cried and cried more. She missed her family, she never got to see them anymore, they always went to grandmas. She felt like a use toy, like someone got bored of her and threw her away. She felt disgusted with herself and even being in this world. She went to the bathroom and grabbed her friend and cut, she hated this feeling. She slid the razor over her wrists, again and again. She kept cutting till she saw the crimson red blood run down her arms. She heard a car door and she instantly shot up and wondered who was downstairs.

(First Person Now)

I washed off my arms and threw on a sweater. I walked down the stairs and heard a knock on the door and smiled thinking it was Andy. Yep, Andy. I never knew why he always knocked on the door.  I pulled down my sleeves and opened the door. To my surprise it wasn’t Andy.., it was CC.

“Um..?” I questioned

“Oh, hey Anne, we need to talk.” and he walked into my house, not even giving it a second thought.

“Um? Hi?..” I looked at him in shock. He hates me and he’s always telling Andy to leave me alone.

“Anne, we both know how much I hate you, but Andy just thinks you are so amazing. So, listen. Tell Andy you hate him, tell him him to leave you alone. Maybe, just maybe I’ll have some respect for a cutter.” He was so mean. For a person in a group who tries to stop cutting, sure hates me 'cause I cut. Its really ironic cause of all people who should understand me should be him.

~Flashback~

“Hey Anney~!” CC yelled at happily at me.

“Hey Christian,” I smiled at him and ran towards him, jumping into his arms, hugging him.

“How’ve you been?” He asked me with the biggest smile ever, hugging me back.

“I’ve been amazing, but even more now. Now lemme see your wrists, you winced when I jumped into your arms.” I voiced with concern running through every single syllable.

“No...it’s nothing.” He mumbled and set me down as he turned around.

“Chris….please?” I pleaded

“Anne, no. Leave it. Me and my dad only got into a fight. I’m fine.”

~End of Flashback~

“Anne, idiot! What on Earth are you staring at me for?!? I thought I made myself clear?!” CC yelled, and grabbed my wrists, yanking me out of my train of thought.

“I-I’m sorry…” I winced as tears pricked at my eyes, threatening to leave my eyes.

“You’ve always been nice to me even though I’m an ass to you?..Why?” He brought up a new subject. My eyes got blurry and glossy.

“....Cause, never mind, you won’t remember anyways” The horrible wetness at my eyes started falling. Drop by drop. I wiped the tears away and my voice got caught in my throat.

“Oh, dammit! Don’t cry. God, it was only a question.” He seemed almost sympathetic for a second as he pondered for something to say, “Now come here, but don’t tell anyone. Got it? If anyone finds out, I’ll make your life worse than it already is now.” He said calmly, extending his arms out. I was shocked. I hesitantly walked towards him; into the arms of the devil.
