Transformers Rescue Bots: Cody's Partner

It was a normal day for the Burns family. Everyone doing their own thing. Everyone was with their partners, except Cody. He might have been the first to show and teached

the bots about Earth, but he was the only one that didn't have a partner. So when he was left out, he would try and interact with everyone else.

"Hey guys, watcha doing?"

His family and the bots were outside playing ball. Since there was uneven numbers, Chase played referee.

"We're playing rescue ball." It was Graham that answered.

"Can I play?"

This time it was Cade that replied. "Cody, there are uneven numbers, so Chase is playing the empire. Besides: one, we need an empire. 2. you wouldn't last five seconds in this. And 3. you dont have a partner. So no."

At those last words Cody was hurt.

Cody POV

I get so upset when people pull that hurtful card on me. I walk back inside the firehouse. I was about to head upstairs when I heard someone call my name.

"Cody?"

I turn around to find myself face-to-ped with Optimus Prime.

"Oh, hey Optimus. Is there something you need? Here, let me get my dad." I turned around to get Dad when Optimus spoke again.

"I only need you, Cody."

I stopped dead in my tracks. Did I hear wrong or did Optimus just say he needs me? I turned back around with a shocked expression on my face. He merely shook his head and put his hand down on the ground.

"Come with me."
