Chapter 2 : Maple, the tree fairy

After finding out about my parents death, I ran off and I stumbled across a forest. So, I headed in, I could live here for a while. I picked off an apple and think to myself [ Why would Veron do that? How could he? What was there? Why he killed my pare- ] "WAH!!" screamed a faint female voice. What's that? I thought. Strange, I thought I was the only human in the forest. Anyways, I follow the screaming. When I arrived, I keep a crafty profile and listen. "Why kill a fairy of the forest?" she said. "Because it's you fairies who make all those stupid rules." two voices said, "Now prepare to die in the next 5 seconds!". "Not if I can make that longer.", I jumped in, "And instead of the girl you two shall perish! " . The thing hisses, "Us treewolves shall never lose to the puny like of you!". The treewolves leap at me with their sharp claws. I instantly dodge one and elbow the other. It ran away. The first one stays and comes at me with its bloody teeth. I knee it and draw my swords, it renders helpless. "No please, let me live!" it pleaded. I think about it, and draw back my swords. "Run off! If I find you do something as evil as murder again, you will die, no EXCEPTIONS!". And so the treewolf runs away. My attention now turns tho the fairy. "Are you okay?" I asked. "I am more than okay, I am very greatful, and with all my gratitude, I thank you." she answers and give me a kiss on my cheek. She turns, blushes and says, " Dear me! I am very sorry, I just got carried away, pleaee forgive me." "Dont worry, it's okay. It's how you show thanks, and your welcome." I replied. "What is your name?" I asked. "My name is Maple, a forest fairy. What's yours?" she asked. "My name is Jay, citizen of a villiage just south from here, but it's destroyed. " I answered, "Well nice chat, but I got to go." "Where are you going?" she asked. "Wherever Veron is so i may kill him." I answered.
