It was all exciting and scary at the same time. Walking to the park alone was something I did regularly but only ever to meet Mia. I loved the scenery on the way to park. On every way in and out there were always a new type of flower growing and if it wasn't a new type of flower it was a new colour and it was all so beautiful! Today I noticed there were white roses growing, I thought there already were all sorta of roses but I guess not. I admired all the lilys and daisys. All were placed in category's which was sweet. As I got to the gate way, I had to stop, I always did. The gates were made of a beautiful bronze and I know bronze was always the third choice but this bronze stood out and it was polished daily to give it a gorgeous shine. I cracked a smile at how wonderful Cornwall can be. Living in England has it's pros and cons but I think Cornwall fixes all the cons for me. on the great gate were the words 'Cornwall Park' with the words 'have a great day, to you all' were written in small underneath. I wonder if I will ever meet the person who looks after this beautiful park. I would definitely learn some great tips on how to keep my garden looking good.
I entered the park, curious to which pond the good vibes worker would be sitting. I never learnt his name. "Oops" I thought to myself. I sent him a text asking where he was when suddenly someone was infront of me. Their phone beeped. Found him!
"Hi" I flew him a subtle smile
"Hey" his teeth were all in a perfect alignment ugh "come, I'm sitting over here" he chose the white park bench. Another thing about this beautiful park is someone had paints each park bench a different colour whether its ranging from fuchsia to the darkest black. It was so cool here!
"So um my names Zayn by the way. Zayn Malik, I'm uh twenty and wow I shouldn't be this nervous. Fuck" I'm actually making him nervous, I looked away trying to hide my blush "you don't have to be here, like I'm you can leave if you want I just wanted to see you again because your um gorgeous hah I'm sorry I'm not usually this straight up, I just feel myself around you and I feel like I can be open and honest so yeah um hah I am" wow he left me lost for words. I had to say something, but what? Ill wing it " haha oh no it's ok you just I'm made me blush hah sorry I didn't mean to be rude, it's ok be as open as you like with me. I'm Violet and I'm 16 turning 17 in a month yay hah" eek I'm failing here should I text Mia for back up? "Oh really, that's so cool! What day?" No need for back up Violet, ugh grow up "um the 13th, why?" I should make up an excuse to leave "oh no reason hah nah well, I gotta go finish closing up the shop Jeremy can't do it himself!" Phew he's as nervous as me now "oh yeah course, so um see you later?" I stood up trying to act as normal as possible. "Yeah ill um text you soon" he stood with a broad smile, wow he had a nice body. Wait what is he doing? He's going in for a hug oh my god, literally fangiriling!!! We hugged good bye, must I add he's an amazing hugger. I turned and while we were both walking away I turned around and little shit was checking me out, we both blushed. I texted Mia immediately. 'Hey, meet me at mine in 30 minutes, tell you deets then bring girls if you want xx Vi' she's a fast texted because he replied within seconds with 'cant we come now, t or d is getting boring xx Mi' eh why not 'sure xx Vi'
I got home, living on a quiet street helped a lot, except it was my parents old home so they visited often and had a spare key. I did the dishes from earlier and fixed up some thing when I heard a knock on my door. "Coming, just a sec" the door opened ugh "hey Vi we didn't need you to come" they all came in and sat at my table all five of them leaving no room for the owner. Mia, Alicia, Hayley, Delilah, Amanda, all sitting with eyes on waiting. "What? Haha" I was utterly confused "tell us what happened loser" ugh of course Mia would be so rude. "Wellllll...." I told them all the details, everything we said, put up with all the aww's and "I ship it" ! Hayley then let out her first words since arriving, she wasn't a talker, and all she said was; "can we go to good vibes tomorrow I wanna see if he's as sexy as you two are making him out to be". We all dropped out laughing as loudly as possible till my phone went off, playing my favourite cover; I miss you by 5sos. "IS IS HIM??!" God damn Mia,"shhhhhh" "hello" "h hey gorgeous I was wandering if you would like to go to dinner with me tonight" I looked at the girls with an excited look, Mia was almost bursting the poor thing. "Hello?" Oh fuck I'm not talking, "sorry I was thinking, why yes of course I will come to dinner with you, pick me up at whatever time you want I text you my address, that cool?" Boys love confidence right? Mia and the girls ran outside so they could all scream of joy "sounds great see you then" I could almost hear him smiling.
"GIRLS" I shouted "GIRLS IM GOING TO DINNER WITH MR SEX GOD" that received a bad look from my neighbour, he was always so grumpy, "sorry sir, I got asked on my very first date" I witnessed his first ever smile "congrats, now make 'em shut up" he shuffle away in his robe and slippers, spilling his afternoon coffee on his way.
I think I'm starting to really like this Zayn, "Mia get in here we need to go run" tradition "oh yes coming honey, lets go"
Our screams echoed through the alleyway's. we both ran out of breath and had to stop. Through heaving breaths Mia said "your the best Violet I hope you and Zayn can work because you two are honestly my new favourite couple" we both cracked a smile and started laughing while we hugged. On our way back I got a text saying be there in 30 ugh more running
