High school Bad Boy's Secret

Chapter 1

I was having my lunch peacefully when my best friend Natalie nudged me hard.
"Wha-"I started
"It's them!"she mouthed at me.
I looked up to see a group of three boys entering the cafeteria-- the Bad Boy gang we all called them. The name says it all...these guys were practically delinquents.
However all the girls in our school seemed to like them but they were too scared to approach them,the other guys in school were scared of the gang because the gang occasionally picked up a fight with the strong popular guys ( types of guys who usually bullied the geek,nerdy kids),the gang never picked on the weak, judging by the fact that they were delinquents, it was rather wierd. I said they were delinquents because they were involved with all the illegal bad stuff like drugs, stealing, street fighting, betting, bribing ofcourse and even kidnapping.
Who knows they might have killed too.
I will never understand why girls are crazy over them. I will never understand why exactly my friend likes one of them.
To the left was Tyler Cox who had blue eyes and a blond quiff,he was one of those quiet bad guys,he was the one Nat had a crush on . To the right was Jake Martinez,who had a perfectly styled up hair and black eyes,he was a Casanova...he has dated almost half of the female population in our school. In the middle was Callum Wolfhard,the leader and the most dangerous among the three. I said dangerous because rumour has it that he was arrested once. He might have done something really bad.
I looked at Nat,she looked as if she would just go over to them and kiss Tyler.
"Stop drooling, Nat" I said giving her a disgusted look.
"He's so..."she started but I stopped her as I saw the gang walking towards us.
Why are they coming here?
Is it because of how Nat was just looking at them?
Damn Nat!
"Who's so... what?" A booming voice asked.
Jake Martinez.
I saw Nat getting all stiff.
Jake sat down beside her and moitioned Tyler to do the same while Callum just came and casually sat just beside me.
I shifted uncomfortably... I was always uncomfortable around guys specially if they are popular and bad.
"You are talking about my friend here I suppose?" Jake said gesturing towards Tyler, who went slight shade of pink.
A bad boy blushing...weird.
But why are they here ?
They never picked on the unpopular kids unless they were annoyed .
But did we do something to annoy these guys?
Was it Nat's crush on Tyler,did they know about it?Are they annoyed by it?
I broke out from my thoughts when I felt a gentle tap on my wrist. I moved away my hand quickly. I saw three guys beaming at me..there was no sign of Nat.
She left me alone with these guys.
Seriously Nat?
"Seems like your friend abandoned you" Jake said winking.
" No she told you she was leaving, before she left" Tyler said quietly looking down at his plate.
So she called me...
Shit! Why didn't I hear her?
I could have left too then.
"Seems like you really enjoy our company,eh- Ashlyn...since you didn't leave like your friend" Callum said in a deep sexy voice.
Shit! did I say SEXY?
Damn it!
But to be honest he IS kinda attractive. He has curly brown hair that kept falling over his brown alluring eyes.
Honestly I may have fallen for him,if he was not a CRIMINAL.
Hold on he knows my name?
"H-huh!?" I stuttered.
Right... I need to get out of here. I looked around for help, but everyone specially the girls simply glared at me.
I searched for my bag. I froze as I saw it resting on Callum's lap.I snatched it out of his grip.
"I-it w-w-was ....nice t-talking to you all" I managed to say, before I practically ran out of the cafeteria.

What was that?
The Bad Boy gang never noticed us before. I never thought they would talk to us... specially me... I was the nerdiest girl in school, I was shy and low-key and had no friends well except Natalie.She was my best friend and exact opposite of me,she was the more outgoing type,she had few friends in her music class but she had no friends except me in our class,that was probably because she was too frank and was not afraid to speak the truth.
"Ash..."a voice said.
I turned around to see a smiling Nat in front of me.
"Are you okay?" I asked her.
"What about you?I told you that I was leaving but you didn't come with me." She said instead."do you..."
I stopped her right there.
"I dozed off... okay?" I hissed.
But she just rolled her eyes at me.
"Why did they talk to us suddenly?.... I mean they pretty much keep themselves to themselves"she said suddenly.
I just shrugged. That bothered me too.

Finally... school hours are over!
It doesn't mean I will go on a party or something.
It just meant I was alone and that's what I liked...being alone.
Typical introvert thing..
I picked up a comic book (yes I read comics)
What's with the stereotyping??
I was reading a manga comic right now, Dragon Ball z one of my favorites. I almost forgot about the cafeteria incident.

Suddenly something vibrated under the pillow...it was my phone.
I ignored it. I didn't like being disturbed while reading.
It stopped after sometime.
After a few seconds it started vibrating again.
I sighed, whoever's calling didn't know when to give up.

I picked up the phone...it was an unknown number.
"Real quick!...huh!?" A deep voice said sarcastically.
Shit!
I recognised that sexy voice...
Oh shit! I said sexy again. Damn it Ashlyn! What has gotten into me?
"How did you...."I started.
"Well you need to meet me to know that" Callum said seductively.
What the--
I need to meet him? Why does he want to meet me?
"I- I can't"I said straight away.
Well ofcourse I wasn't going to meet him. No way.
"Well then the whole school must know some facts about you."
Facts about me?
Does he.....?
"What?"I stammered.
"Ahem..."he clears his throat.
"No darling I don't hate you
Baby I'm not mad at you
But I'm mad at me every second
For loving you" he recited.
Oh noo...
He has my diary. He must've grabbed in from my bag when I dozed off in the cafeteria. That's how he got my number... I wrote down my number in my diary because I always tend to forget it.
"Oh wait there's more...."
"Stop it please" I begged.
"Meet at Bluestone's then" he said gently.
"Why do you want to meet me?"
"Because... I have a favor to ask" the bad boy said.
Favor? From me ? A total nobody...
The line disconnected before I could say anything.
Why did he take my dairy..?
Did he read everything?
There were other things written there apart from poems which were mainly written for one particular person-- Liam Carter, my crush since middle school.
Did Callum know about my crush? What if I don't go to meet him? Will he tell everyone about it?
Damn it... I had to go.
